But I had 14000 SC on my account, and since today I have 19000. Maybe they gave every vet 5000 SC? I would check your balance if I were you! :)

I got a email adressed to vets. looks like it is just announcing PS2...I didnt see anything about a bonus, but I am at work fighting coorprate security and such so I cant see picturs either....has a bonus been confirmed or is this just wishfull thinking?

Hmm I still can't see the E-mail pictures so I can't check. But I received two E-mails. One alpha squad mail thanking me being a founder, and another one with seems like a standard newsletter one. My download is done so I will log in now and see if we got any vet rewards.

Didn't see anything when I logged in. The only things I got were the Alpha Squad decal, skin and weapons and an beta decal.

From the email PS1 vet received. I can also confirm this...I am glad I updated my email info during the beta or it would have been sent to some address I don't use anymore.

The email's purpose is to inform PS1 vets of PS2's release, the screenshot is just a small cutoff of that email.

It was attached in the email, it was addressed specifically to Vet players. Not sure what "Vet" means in this case though, what the cut off for being a vet is. I am at school so I can't get in game an verify yet.

I checked the email again and there is indeed that little message... except mine says "Beta rewards!" and not "for our vets".

Hmmm, did the people who purchased the Alpha Squad also get the vet e-mail? It looks like the vets that purschased it, didn't get the vet decal. And the vets who didn't purchased the Alpha Squad, did get the vet decal. I think SOE has the vets that brought the Alpha Squad tagged wrong. I am confident they will solve it :)

I'm pretty sure the rewards are tied to the account...if you are using the same account as you did for PS1, don't worry too much about the emails. Rejoice...it's release day! :P

You don't need the email. If your account was flagged as a PS1 vet, you received the decal. The Alpha Squad email likely superseded the other.

The PS1 Veteran decal has the planetside 1 logo shape. Actually I found it quite simple, it doesn't cry the attention Alpha squad and Beta decals do.

Hahaha so what? They are giving these things to PS1 vet and since I played PS1 I shoud get one. Playing PS1 isn't a reward since I payed for it.

Thing is, I'm a summer "vet" who got in to be able to play the beta while I still had quite a lot of free time. So I will probably have this decal (and likely not use it). I kinda wish I tried this kind of game before but c'est la vie.

I got the email. I only have the Beta and Alpha decal. I also equipped the 10% booster I got with Alpha, logged out and now it's not equipped and not in my inventory.

So on my main account I did not receive anything yet, although I played years on that one. Then on another account which is also entitled, I did not receive anything either. I just received something on an account I had already totally forgotten about, which was still registered to an email address that I'm not actively using anymore.
When I queried the SOE system for the username, it turned out that I still had about 10 accounts bound to that address. Some clearly only for testing trials. And I don't really know about the others. I always had only "two important SOE accounts" in my mind.

I didn't buy the alpha squad package and I'm a vet, but only saw the beta reward decal when I logged in. Something SOE has got to figure out I guess.

I logged in and checked, I have all three decals. Using my Vet ones, sucks they don't show up on my LA Composite armor though, hope its a bug they will fix.

PS1 vet, got the decal and title. I saw the veteran part of the email right when the Planetside 1 Main Theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7m9d2qw8qE) started playing on my playlist. Brought tears to my eyes...thank you devs, thank you so much.

Seems a lot of us are in the same boat. Wonder if they missed a server or something.

I'm yearning for my PS1 vet stuff, even if its just pointless stuff, I want it pretty badly. I have my beta decal and this "Exterminator" title (how'd I get that?), but no simple, elegant, PS1 vet stuff :(

Where's the bonus for beta testers? Don't they deserve some recognition? Do you devs think you've could successfully launched this game without them?
All the time, I hear this Q & A session hallelujah about the important of beta testers and that they couldn't have done this release without these players involved. Well, now is the time to walk the talk.

Recognizing PS1 vets only, some who didn't contribute anything to this release besides ranting, without doing anything for the people that actually did deliver constructive feedback to make this release to what it is today, just feels plain wrong.

I didn't get the decal, and it can't only be a simple DECAL as a vet reward! What ever happened to PS1 style armor/CR5 backpacks in PS2 as our rewards? :(:(

To restate: I haven't gotten my Veteran title or decal, despite being a long-time Planetside player.

New: I got onto the SOE live chat support and talked to a representative. I explained the problem and he contacted someone who deals with these things and informed me that I'd be emailed. Later today I received another email saying:
Thank you for contacting Sony Online Entertainment. We appreciate your feedback. We are investigating causes of players not receiving rewards and will continue to put up solutions as they become apparent. Keep an eye on the knowledge base article and the support forums for the latest on this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.

It seems this is a common problem (in case you didn't figure that out by the 5 pages of forum users who didn't get theirs either), so hopefully SOE can clear this up quickly.

Yeah, they've posted in one of the threads on the PS2 forums. I think they are looking into it.

I sent in a ticket to customer support two days ago, and I received no such e-mail. They did however send me this bit of info in my ticket response:

I checked with our in game team and the issue with your missing rewards should be fixed the middle of next week. If you still do not have it please let us know right away. Keep in mind this is only for players who paid for a membership.

WTF Does this mean? only for players who paid for a planetside membership?! Yeah i paid for planetside 1, why else would I be submitting this ticket??? I'm assuming that's what this means
