Anyone else having this much fun?

Really ridiculous... I'm glad SOE went with this "free to queue" payment model.

Anyone actually waited through the queue? Think I'll get in ever?

Reboot the queue constantly by exiting and re-entering, tended to solve the queue of 0 hang bug.

Haven't had that yet, I'm at spot 150 with an eta of 2.5 hours.


edit now I'm at spot 157... yeah this game isn't free to play.

Hmmm, someone on PS2 forums just said Smed tweeted 35 min ago that there was an issue with the system not detecting if you were a paid customer. They are working on fix.

They have more servers coming up which should solve it. The pain wont be for that long, stop being such a drama queen.

Wondering how many players they reached this time around. Amount of exposure was so much greater than with PS1.

Yeah got annoyed and subbed. Their evil planned worked. Anyway you get right in if your subbed, unless you get that bug.

I got on a server that said heavy. Was one of the east server. Got in right away. I did try to switch to Amerish and was only me in que. Took a little under a minute to switch. I did like the option to keep playing on the current map and keep you in the que.

Had some friends login to the que at like 260 something and it took them about 15 minutes to get in. I remember sitting in the warpgate in PS1 for at least that long back in its hayday.

I don't see it as a big deal. Especially for a free to play game and on launch day.

Yeah I got in still in position 200 of the queue.

Total queue was 10 mins, not the 2.5 hours it told me.

I think the numbers are wrong, because I too have been in a queue that looks long but I'm in-game in 2 minutes. That's on Waterson though, not sure how the other server queues are

Since release i havent hit que yet, this is before I paid my subscription. Today when I get off work well see how useful this is when I get home. I also got the xp bonus which is nice. I made my first charactor on my girlfriends account on accident. I would say I got about 75 certs in about 3 hrs of game play so the certs are good. When I paid the subscription on my own account the certs started rolling in. I would say after about 1 hr of gaming in a big fight for a tech plant I was able to get the ams for my sundy and a reflex sight for my lasher. I LOVE MY LASHER NOW :groovy:.

So is there anyone with a subscription still waiting in que?

I plan to wait a week to see if the queue situation goes away.

I expected the queue on the day it went live after all.

I crashed out and the longest I waited was 8 minutes.

If the queue is still there after a week I am going to get the 6 month plan...since I kinda want it, but need a little more reason to justify the expense.

I believe that their estimations are terribly wrong.
