In the last several beta builds only occasionally in the biggest fights would I drop below 60 FPS and even then it was only into the mid or high 50s.

Now Im regularly dropping into the mid 40s with the same settings in large battles.

Have you completely deleted your beta client prior to installing the new one?

I can also confirm the ~15 fps frame loss. Seems to double in large fights but by then everyone's flying and warping anyway.

I'm running 60+ even in large battles now

edit- BUT, i do have a weird rendering issue occasionally. Having multiple infantry render in my face suddenly

Folks, PS2 is very cpu dependent in large battles. You're going to see a drop in frame rate due to the post-launch population counts unless you've got an absolutely beastly cpu.

Ive got an 2500k overclocked to 4500

Its not the most extreme possible but its pretty good really.
But we had some really crowded base assults back in beta too.

Funny, Since launch I have been getting staggeringly better frame rates than I EVER had in beta.

Optimization takes time and seems to help in one area and hurt others some times. I'm sure they will get it ironed out for everyone after a while.

I saw a frame drop as well after re installing the client. But after re configuring my settings I saw a massive increase in my average FPS. I would get anywhere between 25-45 FPS in beta. I now average from 35-60+.
