Free Cosmetics Someday?

I've got a proposition here..

Much like you get new rank decals for hitting new battle ranks (not to mention the Alpha Squad and Beta decals), maybe you could get a new piece of armor here and there for reaching a significant milestone a la PS1?

I'm not trying to make this sound like a "PS1 had it, why not PS2? MOAAR" thread. But that's an easy way to explain it here to everyone on these forums.

Many asked if this would be in the game in the past. Would defiantly help to identify player's rank using this method. They could expand the cosmetic options for each tier acquired via battle ranks. Make them purchasable. Would be nice.

I believe the answer the devs gave was that the system resource cost would be too high if they did this though. Correct me if I'm wrong somebody.
