3 Days after release... not enough time to review PS2. But right now I'd give it 9/10. This has been a very smooth launch all things considered, I think.

I'm worried that because a lot of the "promises" aren't in yet, things are going to be a bit biased. Hopefully they release an action plan/outline for the next 3 months. If they abandon this game, like they did PS1, you can bet reviews are going to turn sour very fast and it will poison the well.

I wouldn't be too worried about that, they don't want to abandon it any time soon as the need to earn their money back first.

I couldn't pay attention to the review because I was too distracted by how over the top kill streak bonuses are. 100 points for a revive+full heal, but 180 points for a kill? Something's wrong there. He did play the KDR route pretty well though, even used the tank LOS correctly.

This is the first "free 2 play" game that I have put any money into and I find myself wanting to put more into it.. which is kinda scary. Actually considering premium to bypass queues even though the queues really aren't terrible.

Most fun I've had in a shooter since maybe Battlefield 2 for me.. since I never played PS1.

but in my opinion it´s just a frame for what it could become. the potential is huge, and ps2 could be improved to be as deep as the original and even far beyond.

This is pretty much how i feel about the game right now, the devs are onto a winner with this game if they play their cards right

Agreed, it's a bit rough and bare bones framework but very solid to build on and with a lot of promise. And like the Minecraft model, it was designed to be that at initial release.

Reviewers on the lower end of the rating spectrum tend to focus more on what's currently missing while the ones giving it high ratings have more eye for the diamond that's already there and the potential it houses.

im enjoying it so much!! just joined an outfit and we always have a full platoon online and we will probably expand to two. the voice com is great and teamwork is amazing. reminds me of the first time i started playing bf2/mods. only thing annoying me is the whole interface seems very confusing to me and the minimap seems useless always have to use the fullscreen one. also cert point gain seems very low so much stuff i want buy probably will never achieve. wish you could unlock atleast some stuff as you ranked up.
