I imagine we'll get them eventually.
They're militarily valueless, but My God they are fun. They are so much FUN.

Let them fix some other more important stuff first.

Thanks for the straight answere. I was unsure if I missed an interview where they were mentioned, but if you don't know about them, then that's that.

They said they are coming post launch at the SOE Live keynote, that's the most recent news we have heard.

Whitout being pushy, maybe you can ask about them in an upcoming interview? More than actual dates, I would really like to know what role they would have and how they are going to be implemented (driver/gunner system).

I do miss screaming across the landscape in my Thresher.

Some of my best moments in PS1 were driving / gunning an Enforcer. A couple of mines, and you were toast. A direct hit by a tank shell, you were toast. Locked on by missiles? You're probably toast.
But if you could find a hilly area free from mines to do hit-and-run attacks from, it was one of the most enjoyable experiences of the game, in part just due to the speed and the adrenaline rush when you took return fire. :)

Indeed, we can only hope the Ps2 version gets the Saron and not the PPA though. :p
I'd settle for a proper Skyguard though, they were a scream to drive. I know right, what a silly person I am to enjoy driving and not having a personal gun....

I do want Skyguard back, too, and I am especially excited for the buggies! They were great fun although there were not very many situations where they were more useful than a HBT, but they were still a blast. Especially the Enforcer.

They should sell lift kits or allow us to slam our buggies, lol.
I'm just kidding. I'm looking forward to the buggies as well.

Speaking of the Thresher does anyone remember one particular iteration of it that could stick to the steepest of gradiants? I mean it really did cling to massively angled hillsides.
It didn't last too long, they pulled it and toned it back down again but that one was fun. It wasn't even that OP, given the gun the it always had.
Part of the attraction to Buggies was of course the vehicle exit/enter anim's. Well that and the speed!

Pffff, you did a forward flip getting out of the VS Flight Variant BFR.
Your buggie animations can go and do one...
:P.

Er...yes but it's a Biffer. I mean...it's a Biffer. Just being seen to get in to one of those, no matter the animation, was asking for it. :p
Moreover I don't remember there being any kind of animation from the pilots when I microwaved them with the Radiator inside their clown-robots. :D

Awesome mental image there... lol imagining buggies stuck on small hills because they've been dropped 'til they scrape.

Aww man, that sounds awesome. Now I hope they make it like that, I don't even care if they give us a Beamer for the gun. Buggies are meant to be fun to drive.
