I am quite dissappointed that customizations cost station cash. I will keep this short and sweet. Why cant customizations cost certs aswell. I know SOE has to make money so why not make customizations expensive, like 1000 certs for a customization. Any opinion would be great :)

Depends what the item is I guess. One-time use camo = 1000 certs. Composite heavy armor = 10,000 certs. Composite helmet = 5000 certs.

They could allow this I suppose. I does go in line with the thought that players are content. They might down the road after its been out for a while.

There is no reason.

Its fine that SOE makes money on pure cosmetic upgrades.

I actually agree - cosmetic items do not affect the game balance and to make people buy them, you have to make them better than the default cosmetic stuff. But if you make this stuff cost in-game currency, the most of the players will simply not waste a single buck on the game.

As for the single-use camos, it's the same because single-use camos are not really single use, considering that we have 3 loadout slots for every class/vehicle.

Why can't customers spend money when a company pays the expenses for the game they provide !

You have access to the whole game for free (albeit it will take a bit more time to unlock than someone paying). If you really like the game and visual customizations, why is it so hard to support this game ?

I was planning to get a sub but some technical errors prevented me from paying one. I played for free for the past few days and TBH, the cert acquisition rate is decent.

All that to say that if you're really tempted to get a camo, you have to realize that SOE needs money at some point and if you consider it's not worth paying money, then it's not worth getting.

We knew they were going to do this since pretty early on beta. I personally have no issue with it being this way.

Cosmetic items will remain for SC only, You don't need em, and if you want em, you gotta cough up some dough..

One of the better things about this F2P model, is everything that matters is available without putting a dime into the game (granted not at same pace - obviously)
