Add voice commands for squad leader orders, like in BF2:"Move to this position! " Attack this position" "Defend this position".
That means different waypoints too, cause all there is now is just a squad waypoint. Defend waypoint could be purple, Attack waypoint orange. ya know just like in BF2. And remove that stupid irritating effect when i look in the sun, these circles on the edge of the screen. wtf is that for?
i hope you wont put in the shitbag blue filter and thousend sun flashlight from BF3 too. Please use BF2 as reference and not BF3. thanks

Got plenty of voices on teamspeak to figure out, just text please.

You don't know the extend of continental spam yet, do you, small-game-player? :p bf2 is a "Tiny Game" in comparison, but a single platoon is bigger than BF2 numbers. You honestly think it is a good idea and not extra confusing who it was that talked to you? There are plenty of voices in squad and platoon and outfit and proximity.

Global and continental messages should be written instead.

Isn't he referring to "defend the generator" type voice macros? I would never confuse those PS1 style VM's with TS.

your right, but since there are already voice commands, i dont see the reason why couldnt this be implemented. In bf2 you could just spam for a limited time.

I think I misinterpreted you actually. I thought you were refering to empire wide voice com.

Voice Macros for within the squad/platoon are fine to be added. You should check out the old PS1 system which was about a trillion times as expansive and practical than the current one.

http://planetside.station.sony.com/howto/manual_detail.vm?handle=6.8

Samples:

v-v-v : Help!

v-n (need) -g (gunner) : We need a gunner!

v-r (repair) -g (generator) : Repair our generator!

v-s (self) -r-g : I will repair our generator!

v-t (tactical) -t (turret) : Man a turret!

v-a (attack) -c (control console) : Hack their control console!

v-d (defend) -m (medical terminal) : Defend our medical facilities!

Those ones are cruelly lacking. I could use V-7 to say "Help!" but then the message said by my character is so verbose it is not clear that I need help. And if the person understands I do, they have to guess for what...

In PS1, there were also text macros when the extensive voice macro system was not concise enough.

In PS2, voice chat ? Ok yeah... Just not working when I play at night next to a bedroom though.

yes i meant Voice Macros for within the squad/platoon.

i played ps1 but i dont remember these commands, but indeed its a lot better then what we have now. We have nothing , only Higbys voice saying a few commands on the NC side, which are barely noticable. xd

I'm really missing the following voice macros the most

Move
Stop
I need a gunner

Squad voice commands is not needed much with the ig voip imo, and most outfits use external voip (ts3/vent) anyways.
