I have been reading but I am wondering how the healing and revive will work...will it be like wolfenstein or how does it work?

PRobably like Wolfenstein

Never played RTCW so i cant comment on that, but from what ive read i beleive you will take out a medical applicator (or something of the like) and use it on a corpse. A bar will fill up (like hacking) and once it reaches the end your friend pops up beside you, although weak.

Really easy to explaine. Shot in the dark here but its based on stuff. There is a medical device with an ammo supply for medics. Once the ammo is out u cant heal anymore. Higher medic cert = more healing per "ammo point". If someone has advanced medical they can revive you. It takes a little bit to respawn so if in that time a medic finds and heals u u may have the option to revive (may ask u yes or no)

Id rather live for a while longer and hide for a few min than die.

Will there be gradual healing?

For instance, let's say you're a lone wolf sniper and you lose your hiding spot but defeat your assailant.. He did some damage to you... If you encounter another enemy 20 minutes from then walking on your road, will you still have that damage? It seems to me there should be some type of gradual healing whenever you're not in any combat (firing or being shot at resets timer)... Sorta like in MMORPGs, "resting"...

Thoughts?

No. You'll need to be healed. This is a team game. The more lone wolves owned the better

*revision**

You're out with a squad of friends, roaming, patrolling, scouting, but without a medic.

I think in a large scale game it seems a reasonable thing to have.. Surely they don't expect all players to hang around bases all the time..

Well, you could plan ahead

I don't think there will be a shortage of medics.

I think there is a regeneration implant.

The cert cost for just healing with the medical device will be fairly low I think. It's the Advanced [Insertnameformedicaldevicehere] cert which costs the certs.

Just don't let me try and heal you with my Max armour; "OOps. Sorry. Was that ment to be attached?".

I just think it is one of those invaluable things for a grunt to have, regardless of cost, so hopefully 1 in atleast 5 will have it.

Only with the regen implant.

And also medics can revive you from the dead. Probably by sticking that thing on you like in that screenshot of a medic healing on the PSU official images section

I'm getting atleast basic med cert so that i can use the medkits and basic enginering so that i can use BANKS..

But annyways, as to how revive works... walk up to the soon to be dead guy, put the medical applicator close to him.. click and hold the button... wait for the progress bar to finnish... tada, revived man albeit wounded and in need of repair.

For this very reason I am being a Medic/sniper. I can heal myself.

I can see Tobias now,

Him and 2 other scout type are wandering through the forest... Suddenly, A group of infantry ambush them, They all get wounded and the 2 scouts say come on Tob we can take them... He replies "Screw you dude! I need to heal myself! I am at freaking 90HP!" and he runs off to let the scouts die with honor. haha jking
