Anyone else agrees?
You play more, you level up,and you gain some certs ( lets say 100-400 certs)

It does reward you certs.
By doing it in the first place.

Your amount is a lil high to me but I definitely agree, there needs to be more relevance to Battle Rank in general. Right now all it does is unlock loadouts, then after those it just becomes a Call of Duty Rank "Here look how high my number is I've played 4x more then you noob!"

I agree. A few certs on a BR rank-up would be nice. Not many, maybe 10-25?
I think medals do give you certs though?
You already get additional loadouts as rewards but i agree something more would be nice. That can cert points. Additional options in a cert tree would be even more interesting imo.

Yes they do.

I don't believe they should grant certifications, since they are earned through the direct gain of experience (and cert points along with it).
I DO think that the weekly rate of cert gain should increase by 1 per BR, so a veteran who takes a break has more to come back to than a BR1 created to build passive gains. At the current 8 points per day, 56 certs per week (57 per week at BR1 if this were implemented), a BR30 would instead be getting 86 passive certs per week.

We've talked about this before on our outfit site - that BR means almost nothing in this game and there should be better incentives beyond labels.
I guess the problem comes in when trying to balance a game where a new player can have a chance against a BR100 player.

Let's not forget it also gives you a displayable title and shoulder patch corresponding to your rank (which cannot be displayed with composite armor). I think that's pretty cool, minus the composite limitation.

Essentially Battle Rank already gives certs, we just get them as we progress through each rank as opposed to getting a big chunk of certs when we finally reach the next rank.

I like it! Even if they think that is too much they could do an increase of 1 cert point per 10 levels or something.

I think every level of BR should get you one extra cert point per exp gaining action.
This won't mean much to kill whores (who get 100 xp a kill and if they are in a lib or something easy kill xp) But mean much more to teamwork roles like support actions.
It will also be a good way for the game to reward leveling without giving more power or a frontload of certs (the one point more still makes you do actions to earn said certs) and will give a nice little lasting reward for playing the game longer.

Would give more oomf to leveling up other than a squad leader requirement.

BR info is here:

It's a bit off since beta should be corrected soon.
Anyway, I do agree BR should give you a small cert point reward.
