Some really hard fights on Mattherson. Though I'm sick and tired of zerg momentum getting completely stalled by bio-labs because indies can't figure it out...

Yeah, Labs can be a pain if there's too many people on the ground (which happens with a lot of new folks I'm sure)
I just wish I could grab people and throw em out of the tele room, so I don't get killed via friendly fire trying to rush out :/
Tech Plant battles have been the most fun for me so far, Mekala is a constant clusterfuck.

Us old timers from The Old Timers Guild (OTG) typically run with as few as 6 players up to 30 and we've been having a lot of fun on Mattherson. We typically engage in gorilla warfare, harassing enemies in outlying areas and following the Zergs.
Thus far we've been having a great time!

My favorite is parking a burster on a hill somewhere with my mates and swatting Enclave swarms.

Playing on Matherson with my small group as well. The NC seemed slow starters the first few days then have come on with a vengance at times since. Last night was some great action. Until we pushed through Split Cheeks pass and got scattered and beat back by the TR haha..they had me pinned on top of a rock and were circling me like sharks with a few Sundy's and Lightning's untill they eventually needed 5 light assaults to fly up and get me, I took 2 of them out with my pistol before they ended me.
Zurvan has been a non-stop fight for a week now it seems.
The Bio-Labs always seem to be a hang up...

Any NC commanders not currently in the alliance should feel free to add Dzire and help get coordinated. There's a commander teamspeak set up to help organize with other outfits :D

NC's greatest weakness on Mattherson at the moment is air power. We are really lacking good Air to Air superiority.

YES this is an ongoing issue for sure, I am working on piloting but everytime I am up it seems I am tragically outnumbered by faster more manuveralble foes, however when a band of Reavers is together they seem to have the lasting advantage.

Yes ! Let's keep the game in its current state and not change anything ! If it's working, there is no reason to try making it better !!!

Mattherson is dangerous at the moment for non NC, the goons have rolled NC.
If memory serves right, goons do not stop until everything is zerged, this I remember from the old days.

I see this often in game, not enough NC Air cover. I was running a late night Squad in SG last night, and we were getting dominated on Esamir before one of the server shutdowns. We held the Tech plant, despite being outnumbered like 3 to 1 just because we know what we were doing and organized. I didn't see a Reaver in the air at all for a good part of the night. Can't wait until we get some Alliance and Mission system tools in game to really take coordination to another level.

I know that feel. Typically, when trying to deploy our Sunderers, mosquito's are using them as target practice with little to know effort, and the libs are tearing up our tanks, while just hovering in place scoring free XP. It isn't always the case, sure, but we could be doing so much more with an airborne outfit watching our backs. Hopefully an alliance will fix this, and hand pick pilots from different outfits to work together at peak hours.

Mekala is a constant clusterfuck.
QFT, had a huge early morning battle there a few nights ago on Mattherson. NC managed to defend against a few hours of TR pummeling. Then VS moved in and also couldn't take it. The defense lasted a couple hours and never fell. We finally pushed out and secured the surrounding areas and that is when I logged. I've never seen a base hold it together that well against so many zerg, not even the crown.

Yeah, Matherson has been really awesome. Many tough fights, but rewarding. Tonight was really fun, damn NC pushed us back on Amerish this evening. wasn't too thrilled about that.
