Thanks for the vid. I don't have a reaver, but showing the difference in infrared and thermal was exactly what I was hoping someone would do. I have the infrared now, but it's extremely hard on the eyes in Esamir so now I will be getting the termal. Thanks again.

Thanks for the video. I'm a dedicated reaver pilot myself and have been using the dogfighting airframe. Looks like I should give the speed airframe a try.

I have both the IR and the thermal optics on my breaker rockets. In my opinion the range difference is noticeable (thermal being shorter). I still use the thermal on my reaver. However, if anyone is considering buying optics for their Liberator guns, I'd have to suggest going with IR. Thermal optics on the Zephyr or Dalton require you to fly too close to the ground to be of much use.
