PC Gamer did the math.
Purchased individually, that’s $327, or about £204 (directly converted from USD). Keep in mind that, in this absurd Scrooge McDuck of War scenario, big spenders would be foolish to not take advantage of item PS2’s bundles or membership benefits, which aren’t taken into account here. If you wanted to earn the same infantry and vehicle items with certification points, you’d need 42,850 of them—that doesn’t include any unlocked optics or other weapon attachments.

And yet I spent way more on ps1.
and tbh, I've still got a lot of SC left I don't know what to spend on.
skyexile has already unlocked 11k certs in what, one week? :p

And why would anyone buy all of that weapons? I buy few that i want to use, improve them, and rest will come with spare certs that there will be plenty in month or two.
On other side is there any numbers on how many certs is needed to get everything? (all certs not weapons)

Nice, thanks.
I expect a flood of new stuff coming from Sony.
Be next year the amount if guns in game will probably double.

The guns are barely any different tho. Very very slight tweaks in recoil or rate of fire or whatever, not very interesting. The only actual different weapon in the game is the lasher. The way too low TTK tho does limit the options quite a bit. Cant get much variety when everything kills you near instantly.
Unless they start adding actual variety in weapons, as in they actually play differently, then there arent many options unless they keep up the lame tiny tweaks on whats really just the same gun.
Flamethrowers need to come back. short range aoe weapon that also blinds the enemy, and if done right would not blind the user as much as it did in beta. Some aoe splash weapons somewhat like the lasher for all empires. (the lasher is bad ass for hitting people who take cover since they really cant hide just around corners since the lash still hits em anyway. Lancer style AV, maybe in the form of high caliber single shot rifle for tr, standard lancer for vs, rail gun for nc etc.
My biggest hope is some actual vehicles for those of us who actually want a multiplayer game, not a solo CoD fest. Aka, vehicles that require a crew to function, heavy tanks where a driver cant gun, same with buggies, and a speedier 3 man light tank/Deliverer.

I just wanted to second that. The low TTK makes most weapons pretty much the same and leaves no space for "awesome" weapons for special classes - like the special NC Heavy Jackhammer. It's just a shotgun because the TTK could not really be lower.

I'm actually surprised it's so low, though it seems low just because of limited content, not price.
I think Tribes 2 at release would have been somewhere in the thousands to full-out buy.

As long as they make the more powerful (higher TTK) weapons, such as the JackHammer, situational I don't see an issue with lowering the global TTK to make the weapons have more variety in the way they are used.
What they don't want to do is make any of the side-grades more useful then another other weapon. This would spell pay-to-win then.

I think you are misreading TTK for damage ;)
High Time to kill = low damage. But I agree, the global damage could be lowered and the high damage guns would be situational and stand out a bit.

Not a mistake really, just mispoke when saying weapons have a higher TTK. :P You got the jist of what I said though ;)

I am also surprised its that low
If they add no new content I bet some people will have everything within a year.

LOL.
Is this world so pathetic people want everything to be a rip off now?
You realize all that content is around 500% too expensive? Probably more?
The fuck do we teach kids these days? That ripping you off of your money or your life is normal?
Any game that in any way costs you more than 60$ a year to just have what they have is a rip off to begin with. The ability to get things for free doesn't change that. What a stupid world. Looking at a 300$+ price tag and smiling because its too low. What a pathetic bunch of consumers, no wonder this world is so retarded.

It sounds like you guys dont play NC.
Some of their guns behave very differently from other of their guns in the same class.

I've only spent £15 on this game (triple SC day :D) and there's only a couple more guns I want to unlock like the 2nd burster which i'll probably get next time there's a sale.
£15-£20 for a game is absolutely fine by me.

That's really not that much for an MMO - about 2 years subscription.

thats cheap,i do recommend buy the bundles when you can, save the dollars
iRacing cost a lot more, when you buy a base content, then a monthly sub,as well is buying race tracks at $11.95 to $14.95 and cars at $11.95 each, thats 57 tracks, with more coming, and 27 cars with more coming, but if you buy in bulk you can get discounts up to 25% off, that has to be 6 or more items, and yes i am 100% content owner

You aren't suppose to buy everything in this game... its pointless to do so.
it would be nice if the try it system was better though. Half an hour with a infantry weapon isn't much time to try it out. There are times where ill only get into 3-4 fire fights in 30 minutes.

ok, lets be realistic, its about 150$. (considering there is a double/triple SC day every month pretty much)
also when they add the account wide SC purchases, to full all 3 empires will be at a very resonable price for all faction

There is nothing I want to buy on the store, if they put the underslung MCG on there and an equipable knife slot then I'd be excited.

And here the majority of every Internet idiot try to tell me that F2P are cheaper then games with box prise + monthly fee....
Yet I have spent $120 (inc 6 month sub) on this game. That is as mush as I spent on SW:TOR's collectors eddition but then I at least got an action figure, a book, sound track and allot more.
I so fucking hate this micro transaction model. We pay more money now but get less for it. God damn cock sucking assholes to money grabbing hoes.
