I've been playing my tr character lately, and while I'm generally enjoying myself from a mechanics perspective, one thing that I find refreshing is an aesthetic one: fighting in different areas of the map.

As a one empire player, they may never see the desert in northern Indar, or enjoy the canyons down south much, or see some of the nice outposts on Amerish as they are near opposing warp gates, especially the TR ones down south.

Unless you're on a server that constantly dominates these maps, being able to see and occasionally have to fight in these varying areas is refreshing.

Why not rotate the warp gates, monthly. Seriously, it is refreshing instead of always fighting near tarwich as an Nc player, they'll get to fight near the crator and visa versa. It will prevent things from getting stale IMO.

Are we sure that it will be static? I know in beta who owned which warp gate switched around more than once.

They were testing the map balance.

could rotate every time the continent is dominated rather than with a time period, just as another idea
