I'm not a fan of these daily deals.

I don't have time to check what is or isn't on sale.

You buy something and then find out you could of got it as part of a bundle with 10 other things for an extra 200 station cash or something stupid.

The store needs to stay static and stop changing all the time.

I'm a fan of the daily deals. The store should not be "static", and I hope it continues to evolve and change. The fact that things go on sale after you paid what you thought was a reasonable price does not mean the system is broken. Additionally, I'm happy with the log in requirement as a means to reward the people who play the game.

Great initiative, at least until API's/apps are released that let you check and buy on your mobile. As long as OP just updates the first topic, this will reduce forum spam.

Daily sales are just another evil way to make us hooked on the game and I like it :D

Already decked mine out in Alpha Squad colours/insignia, skull on the bonnet, fury launcher, turbo and fancy tyres. No slots left for pretty lights. One more customisation slot would be nice, tho I realise its more polys on screen.

SOE needs to tone down the bright and shinny on VS and increase it on NC, so you can have all the appropriate player types back on your team where they belong.

I really wish these bundles are discounted if you already own some of the items in it as I would be tempted to buy them.

The discount could simply be a proportioned sale amount for each item you already own. In other words, if the discount of the bundle is 50% of the individually totalled sale price, the price would be reduced by this amount for each item you already possess. Already own a gun in a bundle that sold for 1000 SC then the bundle price would be reduced by 500 SC, etc.

If Sony was smart, they would fix the entire vehicle VS infantry balance, through whatever mechanism or change mentioned to-date ad nauseum, because there's a financial incentive they are completely missing:

There are only a few rocket pods and tank guns to sell, whereas they can offer up an almost endless variety of infantry guns for sale. The only problem is that there really is no use to buy infantry guns if nothing more than the fact that infantry fighting takes backstage to vehicle farming.

Well I personally bought an Infantry Bundle and had the unlocks from Alpha Squad, so I think I only bothered buying the TRAC 5S, Nighthawk, the Mercy, Burster, and the automatic Scout Rifle individually...

I think most of this is SOE still thinking this in an infantry-centric game. There's also still a few people (like me) that try to treat this as an infantry game with vehicles mixed in, even though they know they're gimping their cert gain. I personally just don't like being in vehicles that much. I didn't buy a vehicle weapon until late yesterday with triple station cash and 15% off vehicle weaps. So now I have HE Prowler, HE Lightning, A2A missles, ROCKETPAWDS, etc. for the equivalent of about $2 apiece.

Vehicles just don't interest me that much; up until the last patch, where they ruined tech plants, I would just redeploy from tech plant to tech plant. I bought a few infantry weaps; the grenade launcher carbine and AR so I could get super skill spam kills indoors. I enjoyed farming with them, and still do in biolabs.

I agree though that there are so many more infantry weapon options compared to vehicles. I honestly don't know what a lot of the infantry weaps are supposed to be about; many have the exact same damage with just a little tweak in recoil, reload times, or hip fire CoF bloom. Almost imperceptible differences. They could transfer some more of that over to tanks, for sure. Even the simple differentiation of having this type of cannon for long-range high-damage sniping with long reloads, this one is for short range low damage with fast reloads, etc. There's a lot of options there that aren't being utilized currently.

Why not do what alot of the Alpha people have done, and ditch the 10% Alpha boost (on main character only) and add the +50% weekly one?

I know thats what I did.

Agreed, the Alpha Squad benefit should be permanent on your account, to plug in when you want to, and take out when you want, its a benefit you paid for, for 6 months and shouldnt be deletable permanently imho

In fact to add to that, all Boosters should be able to be removed and stored (with the timer n them Ticking down Stopped if not equipped) as you have purchased a boost with a time limit, and not being able to swap them in and out is a deficiency of the game, not a feature.....

While I generally like that idea this would change the cost an the duration of boosts dramatically. I have not even played straight 7 days since the launch of the game so I would still be using my first boost. SOE would probably make them much more expensive if this system was changed. But I agree, I would rather buy a 24h boost that I could switch on and off than a boost that just has a timer running even if I don't play.

I know lots of people who spended 1000 certs on the ns-11 and when it got on the daily deal(3 days ago), they would be willing to pay 350 sc to have those certs back and the weapon unlocked to all characters.
