For the last 5 years I have bena smoker.
This past weekend my son brought a chest clod/pneumonia home to share with us from Pre-school
My wife and I were hit VERY hard. I went to medical on Monday, they Xrayd my chest, and the doc showed me the damage from smoking, and the infection.
I hven't had a smoke sine 1700 on Wednesday, Monday afternoon to 1700 Wed I had liek 5 smokes.
I have, I feel, gotten a mental block in place, and will never light up again.
Smoking sucks, DO NOT START PEOPLE, and if you have, for your life, stop now.
My dad almost died from smoking thats why i never started.

I wish hospitals could afford to Xray all smoker's lungs...usually once they see that, they quit on the spot.

Congrats Vicc
good luck V.
I've tried (and will continue to try) to quit an awful lot of times. It's hard doing it on your own. Just keep that kid nearby...relentless and straight from the heart...hes your best shot at stopping, if anything as motivation to live longer.
peace

Sometimes that's what it takes to stop smoking.
My grandfather smoked for 55 years, and one day, while driving out to visit one of his farms, he threw his pack out of the window and didn't look back. He is now 80 and after going through open-heart surgery(one of the affects of being a smoker) he is now smoke-free.
Keep it up

My mom quit recently.
Congrats brother!
Just remember if you start again either it or we will kill you.
Here's a pack of ciggarrettes. Just my way of saying "kill yourself".
My wife quit smoking when she went through basic and AIT. Afterwards she started smoking again. When I asked her why she told me she just liked to smoke. I warned her not to but she didn't listen. A few months ago the Doctor told her she has a depleted lung capacity. She looks at me and says "I need to quit smoking".
It was at this point I realized who truely fucking ignorant she is.

Moving house is rated as one of the most stressful things you can do in your life time, I think getting married and going on holiday are up there somewhere too
I've just never heard anyone use the phrase "moving house".
*edit*
Smoking is a crutch for the weak.
