Seriously they can half the servers now and the game will be fine, only one is ever full for the EU the rest are always medium and now they're all dead. I logged into Miller and there is no one of there, I cannot make more than 3 chars so I cannot change to a US server and unlocks aren't account based so I can only stick to one character anyways as it takes so long to unlock.
I just don't get why the number one issue of Planetside and it being a peak time game wasn't sorted. This is F2P and games like CS have like 15k people playing at their lowest times, so why can't you make it so Planetside merges everyone together dynamically?
Right now if I log onto my server there is no one there, seriously... NO ONE!
I cannot play :\

Da hell are you talking about?
Both Woodman and Miller have ques during prime time.
The rest of te EU servers are usually High on pop during prime time, but not as full as miller and wood, given how they came up after the two.
Same with the US servers. The first few are Full during prime, rest is Well filled.

I've been monitoring the server status page off and on for 5-6 hours tonight, and I haven't seen a single server register as "high" population. Every single server has been low or medium. This period covers prime time for all US locations (east through west). Just sayin...

there are 2 approaches SOE can take to this
1) performance variety. If someone has a weaker computer and cant handle super high population unless they want a 1/2 FPS slide show, they will go to a lower population server to keep performance up
2) med/low may not be as low as you think. Here is a real life example. Talking about Hertz ( the car rental place) They rate utilization on a % of cars rented. LOW for them is 89%. medium is at 91/93%. This may be the same as server populations. Even though it says low, it may be at around 75/80% capacity, meaning if you combined that with another consistently "low" server the populations would easily top 150% of what the server can handle. (which would mean each player would spend a 1:2 queue time to play time ratio, which is trash)
My 2 cents

Common Sense, do you speak it?
First night after a DOuble XP weekend. Guess what people do? Exactly, take a break after they spend loads of time playing during Double XP.

This is what happens.
Well Im a Eastcoast guy and I play on Woodman, I would say I log in about 2 or 3 eastern time and the server is pumping. I would say that it slows down around 10 when players from that region are going to bed. It kind of balances out around my bed time cause I usually have work the next day. On the weekends I can log in about 6 in the morning (while my girl is still sleep) and the server medium to high. But I do know this Woodman stays pumping for me.

as you posted this this morning i assume you where on this morning. no game is full on all servers during weekdays due to most players working / school ect.
from the age of most players in planetside 2 id say a lot are working atm. evening time there are ques and most servers are high. no need for merger yet on EU servers.
i think the US have 1 or 2 too many though from what i have read.

What do you consider "prime time"? Because Mattherson's population hasn't "Very High" since launch during the afternoon/evening hours.
Indar is usually the most populated with ques from time to time.
Esamir's population is usually unbalanced in favor of the VS and isn't as populated as Indar.
At least one continent(usually Amerish) is a complete ghost town with one faction completely dominating the map while facing little to no resistance.
To make matters worse, battles at smaller outposts are a rarity now because of the lower populations and people tending to stick around the best XP farming spots.
I'm not saying the servers are dead, but the populations are certainly not as high as they should be for a game not even a month old. This is an issue that needs to be addressed because populations will only get lower as time goes on.
