TR HA weapons - t32 bull

I'm not sure if the carv was nerfed or not, but the truth of the matter is the Carv ain't no longer what it used to be for me. Either I'm getting worse, the players are getting better, or there have been subtle nerf and buffs going on ever since the later part of BETA.

In comes the T32 BULL. I bought this the other day and my first impressions where just bleh. Today I started adding attachments; compensator, forward grip, HV ammo. This thing is really coming alive. I must say it's a monster midrange. Steady recoil and precise. Moderately long distance is also pretty decent when you burst. I haven't tried much CQC yet, I rarely hipfire so I'm not the best to judge performance in that range.

Bottom line, the carv is going in the closet. The days of a single do it all gun are over, besides, why limit yourself to one gun when it's so much fun trying out new weapons and honing that arsenal.

My load outs are -

T32 Bull - Midrange
TMG 50 - Long Range
MiniChain Gun- Short to Mid


Anyone else try the new bull?

How many people are going to purchase the t32 bull and a few weeks later a new a better rifle comes along that needs to be purchased cause the bull suddenly has a huge recoil patched in.

I wouldn't go that far. It's a good gun but it is a sidegrade and only comes to form with certs gained through in game xp points. We're not even sure if the carv was nerfed. The porblem I have with the carv is that it just can't stand up to the VS solstice, the gun 90% of the VS use. The Bull at least gives me a chance when engaged at midrange.

My tin foil hat keeps telling me the VS are the Dev's sweetheart, and therefore
have/get buffs that not even Smed, Higby, or even the VS-loving T-Ray know exist.
...am I the only non-VS player who feels I insta-die to VS by an overwhelming margin ?

I have to roll my eyes at people acting incredulous that the Carv9 got knocked down even with the NC LMGs - as if SOE pulled some sort of bait and switch on them.

Everyone but you realized your gun was overpowered and a nerf was coming.

My god the Carv is still OP now, it's all I'm killed by. You say it got nerfed, I've yet to see any evidence whatsoever that it got nerfed to any reasonable degree. And they didn't buff NC guns either, our recoil/accuracy issues are still so vast.

You must not fight the VS very often.

Anyways, I've been using the Bull more now and my conclusion is that it's better than the Carv was at range but not so good close. You have to pair it with a better close range gun. Medium range it slightly better I think.

I doubt there's any conspiracy but I do agree on the insta-die to the VS thing. I always get that "thud thud thud" sound when insta-killed by the Solstice. It's like getting aimbotted but it's not a hack.

I've noticed also when I'm firing at them, and they start hitting back, my sights gets rattled and jumps so I completely lose my aim and die even though I started firing at them first. This seems more prominent against the solstice. It's like getting hit by snipers or being rattle by a nearby explosion.

If I trial a weapon, like it and spend money on it, then 4 weeks later it's recoil is increased because soe made a mistake or there's too many QQers, fine but I would expect Smedbucks or equivalent Certs back. That's not unreasonable. If there's nothing back then they can kiss my sub goodbye.

And that's pretty much what you have to do. Since their policy thus far has been no refunds. Which to me makes it seem obvious that's their strategy is nerf anything that's popular to whine about. Then sell a new gun to replace it. It's exactly what people feared when this game was announced as F2P.

Give up on this conspiracy will you. If you were in beta you should know that balancing is a constant issue and the devs have no qualms of doing what needs to be done. They seem to be more careful doing such post launch, but for the big picture nerfs and buffs have to happen for the greater good of a three faction game.

I use the T9 Carv. For everything. Foregrip and the 1x RDS and it does everything I need it too.
