Anyone who has played Morrowind out there, does anyone know where I can find a Fortify Skill spell? I've asked everyone I know who has it, they can't find it either. It's driving us crazy! One HAS to exist SOMEWHERE! So many items have it, but if you can't cast some kind of it, that would be bull.

If i were you, i wouldn't waste time with fortification spells. Just level enough to go into a deadric ruin, kill a dremora or golden saint. Sell that shiznit to the mudcrab guy. Then go to ghostgate, that place ownz. Either steal or buy some glass armor, and you can also steal/jack some ebony armor .:D

I don't know where the fortify spells are. Try in the Telvanni area or in the mage clan. Those people have lots of spells.
What level is your char, and major skills?
Go here for lots of MW info.

Thanks, Fire Monkey, I'll check that out. Believe it or not, I pretty much just started. I'm level 11 and my major skills are Destruction, Conjuration, Enchantment, Heavy Armor (finally, an RPG that does not automaticly reduce you to 2% casting when you put heavy armor on!), and Long Swords.

OMG! I loved morrowind ,played it on XBOX best RPG ever, the only thing that sucked was the ending but a great game. I was bored one day so I played it and went around stealing as many books as i could and made a giant tower of books in the middle of a town it could literaly be seen for miles ...ah good fun.

I used to get the town guards pissed off at me and cast levitate on me and him. I would let him chase me up into the sky until his spell wore off (i would recast it on me). I would watch as he plummeted towards the ground. Good stuff.

Aargh...still can't find it. It's listed as a valid casted effect on some FAQs, but no lists on what mages sell what effects.
Something almost as funny to do with guards. First, you must be Argonian or have a water breathing spell. Use your imagination.
Here's an idea (haven't been able to try yet, that's why I'm posting this, need more Enchant skill, too cheap/poor to pay): Enchant a ring with Constant Effect Damage (non-elemental) on self with 50-ft. radius. Then 100% Magicka (non-elemental) Resist Constant Effect on self (duh). Adjust magnitude of Damage to fit any limits you have. Of course, remove the ring when you're in town. Unless you're evil :D .

I found the game pretty fun. I used Umbra (a sword) and the cresant for most of the game and found with about 120 str (might have been more, not sure) I could kill most anything in like 3-5 hits. Was not to hard. I went heavy armor and had a great deal of life, could not really cast spells but that did not hurt me. just had to carry alot of potions. And as for fortiffy skill spells, there are non, you can find items with it, or download a mod that has it, but otherwise your sol.

Go check out the Telvanni area in vivec. There is most likely someone there who has it. Go to the enchanter, shes in the middle section. Oh, and I assume you are a dark elf right.

I plan on joining Telvanni, I'll check out Vicec, thanks. Dark Elf, right. I kinda still struggle in melee fights, but I fixed that with one-spell Bound Cuirass/Helm/Boots/Shield/Longsword. Kicks me up from a crappy 18 armor to 56 (I think). And I still have that craptastic Silver Flameslayer so it ~doubles my damage.

Yeah, I was just a thief, so I jumped on a bed, and shot the gaurds until they died. I would suggest bribing all the silt strider guys to 100. They charge me like 2 gold or something. Oh, and there's a nudie bar in Suran (i think thats the name).
thanks for the tip on the striders. that was costing me a fortune.
x
PS: they're sadly, not nude.:(
