Cert Points

Im just wondering how many cert poin(s) do you start out with at the begining of the game? All I have seen is "you start with a few cert points to get you going" but no real numbers. Any help would be great :)

well am not too sure on this but i think you start with 1 or 2 points..

i emailed dev and they didint tell me but they did tell me that the beta testers started out with 4 cart..

am not sure if thats how the real game well be i think they did that for beta to test stuff or maybe that is the real number it seems a little high tho

i thogth we started with none but after VR training we ended up at battle rank 5 with 6 cert points...

how do you get 6 out of 5?? if you start with none then at rank 5 you get 5

in the PS moive the guy says they give you some cart points to start out with he didint say how many guessing its 2

i know beta testers start with 4 but i mean when the game is in store how many well it be the same?

Would make sense for it to be enough for one big thing, or a few little ones. People are going to want to jump right into a Galaxy. Unfortunately that's all they would be able to get from the start. Same goes for tanks, buggies, medics (not advanced), engineers (not combat engineers), hackers (not advanced), any ONE weapon/armor, or a few weaker ones, etc.

As for what the beta testers start out whit... thats pretty irrelevant. Was said in a article that testers started out whit 14 points one time. Beta testers start out whit more than you will when it goes retail simply so that the testers can test things hehe.

I'm pretty sure that you start whit 2 cert points when its retail..

I like the calc, but it isn't official Spike, it's just a guess, like all of ours. Although, I do agree that it would probably be 2.
I also heard that they changed the VR training a bit, so you can only get up to BR3.

You start with 4, a Dev officially stated this, and I am in beta, so I can confirm what a Dev said (like that isn't enough).

They could have given beta testers more certs to start out with to get the beta test going faster.
There might me less in the actual game.

i think you do start with 4 cuz some stuff cost 2 3 4 carts so you never know
