So we have to fight against internet celeberaties in the TR and with the begining of the Ultimate showdown The Vanu Alliance (Xen of Onslaught, Sentinels, Quantium Dawn, Toxin) is looking for other VS outfits on Waterson that are looking to work together using a 3rd party chat program (mumble) to organize nightly and work together to fight off the TR aggression. If any VS outfit leaders are interested please send me either a tell here on the forums or ingame and i will get you the info. Lets fight the good fight and remember We Are Tomorrow!

This is excellent news! Please gather in one centralized location. It makes target acquisition much easier...:groovy:

My suggestion is to start using Leader chat, as it's the most effective way to gather large amounts of people to your cause. It's proven to work when people use it. If some of the larger VS outfits started using leader chat to coordinate(what it's designed for), then we'd have greater success. The guilds on VS that tend to do this the best right now, IMO, are VHOT, COA, and TBSQ. It's a shame because the three of them tend to not work together at all, and are mostly just bitching at one another, but they are the ones who seem to get things done the most when it comes to critical moments.
Segregating your allied outfits to certain chat is not effective or useful to the VS as a faction IMO.

I've noticed that NC are working together much better on Waterson lately. This truly sucks when I'm lone-wolfing it, but it's fun to crush when working with an (obviously) superior TR force.

The thing about Orders chat is that you can have anyone cert into that, and spam it. Of course, waterson VS use it quite well, and I would like to thank you for that. You've done a great job coordinating assist, and the messages do help with planning. Anyhow, the alliance is welcoming all other VS waterson outfits, so they can join too.

Probably just DVS running more ops.

Exactly what Saintly said anyone that certs it can use it so it becomes watered down with "DEFEND THE CROWN!!" and other silly orders. I would prefer to use a mumble chat also because i know the other outfits in there know what they are doing and put the VS first not just farming certs. Also i don't have to worry about any joe blow with 5 friends thinking he is a BAMF...

It's also quite a bit harder to coordinate more than 1 platoon of troops.

For example, Sentinels and Xen Of Onslaught decided to run joint ops on Amerish a few days ago. We had our seperate platoons, and our leaders used the Teamspeak to coordinate efforts. It ran pretty well. Although Amish landed his gal on my scythe while I was reloading. That was a pretty funny moment.

Hot-Drop Syndicate will be there. We've already made it our mission to go after TR since they've hovered around 50% server pop. When they zerg an NC cont, we go and try to keep them from taking the benefit. We will never allow Total-Biscuit to discover what we hold at ARC Bioengineering. Indar is ours bitches!

This is interesting, but is the Mumble just for the leaders or do you plan on packing entire outfits in there?

I do agree with Assist that we need far more people that actually get things done taking advantage of leader chat/order chat to help drown out the dipshits. Right now we have some competent commanders trying to get things done, but it is a daily uphill battle to get VS pointed in the right direction since there's only a handful of us that truly seem to give a shit. If more people used it properly it'd definitely make us more effective in general.

it is for the leaders only or officers of said outfit. Its point is to provide info as well as support. There is no "Leader" just people all out for the same goal and assisting each other in this.

a few things the VA is and isn't.

The VA is NOT
1.) A control structure every outfit is its own entity
2.) An E-peen contest as long as you are willing to provide info and be constructive, Ability and size do not matter
3.) There are NO requirements on members besides to provide info and IF able help out other members

The VA is
1.) A place for Outfit leaders/officers to exchange info on enemy movements and their movements to better coordination between outfits
2.) A place for Outfit's to plan faction wide offensives.
3.) A place to request help and respond to said help for good fights
4.) A support structure
