Dammage of Weapons

Does anyone have any idea how much dammage weapons will cause and how easy it will be to die? I mean will a hit from a rocket kill you are will it take a couple?

i hear 4 to 5 rockets kill a MAX so am guessing a guy in medium armor take 1 or 2 hits depending on where it hits

It varies. From what I've heard, and the fact that it is basically a breast-plate and spandex, a change in wind could take out the standard armor.

Im sure a direct hit from a rocket would cut down an Agile/Stand/Infil soldier.

I have also been told a shot from the Bolt Driver would take out those armors as well.
In the same vain, it'll most likely take a few to finish off say a MAX.

It only takes 1 shot to kill someone in standard or agile armour, with a sniper rifle.
2 shots with reinforced.

Actually, the sniper does not kill in one shot against agile. This is seen in the fileplanet video, drops the person's hp by 75, stamina by 65, and armor by 13 or 17, cant remember(yes, yes, too much time on my hands). Standard, i have no idea, but I'm pretty sure it would instantly kill an Infiltration, since they have zero armor.

If that was the video where it was at the convention, the guy wasn't sniping the person, but just shooting them with the bolt driver in normal mode.

I'm confused by what you mean, are you trying to say that the damage on the bolt driver increases or something when you zoom? If so, then no.

If you are trying to say the guy taking the video is sniping, then that is a no, too. The guy taking the video GETS sniped by someone on the roof of the complex.

Since the darklight implant reduces your visual range to almost nothing, a bolt rifle would actually be a severe hindrance in taking out a stealth...with the reload time, that stealther will take out his knife and cut you to ribbons (if you miss, or he has a shield, second wind, etc). Far better to have just a normal pistol at that range.

There will be no one shot kills. At least this is what i have heard and i dont know about a direct hit from a rocket but i dont think that will kill you one hit either. Correct me if im wrong but this si what i have gotten out of the 2-3 years i have been following PS.

First off, weapons have primary and secondary attack. The secondary attack on the bolt driver is when it's zoomed in. Therefore more lethal.

Second, if in the video, the guy was getting shot, then how can you tell what kind of gun the other person had?

And third, Snatch, read up on your facts. One shot kills with the bolt driver, on some armours, is the most common known fact.

I think what they mean by 'no 1 hit kills' is no head shot type kills. I.E in CS a hit in the head with anyweapon kills regardless of armor etc (i think)

ghost u do realise the secondary fire function on the bolt driver is its different levels of zoom, the primary fire fires off the shot the damage is the same either way.

Ghost, get your commonly known facts straight before you say others are wrong.

The Bolt driver will 1 hit kill Standard and Infiltration armor. No others

The bolt driver will CURRENTLY (subject to change) kill someone in one-shot if they are wearing Standard or Infiltration exo-suits.

snipers will definatly be a thing to worry aout for some. Im gonna be eiher in a MAX or up in the air, but even in my MAX, still something to be cautious of
