Hey there!
I have a quite annoying problem In-Game with my mic.
I have new Headphones with a mic, which work everywhere (skype, etc.), but Planetside. I can hear everything, even the players speaking, but when i try to speak, next to my name speaking there is no mic shown, as other players have.
Also, when i enter my mic and headset in game into the two slots, after simply leaving the settings and going back it dissapears!!! At last, when im trying to do the mic test in game, it seems to hear me talking, as the "green waves move", but when i try to record something and then play it through playback, i hear nothing (also my time recording multiplies on time of playback).
As you see, im in a big problem, as i cant use my mic in game. I even tryed to change headphones, or reinstalling the game but nothing changed.
If you know how to help, please do. Thank you
Ailos

Sounds like your configuration just isn't being saved. Make sure you report the bug in-game so that it gets fixed. In the mean time, you can see if this helps:
Go to your voice settings in the game, and once again set them to the proper mic and headphone combination.
Grab a piece of paper, then write down the names of the two devices exactly as they appear in the voice settings page. (For example, for me that's 3-Logitech USB headset.)
Close the game.
Open up your useroptions.ini file, typically located in C:\Users\Public\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\PlanetSide 2. This file is also only available if you're using the standalone Station client (and not the Steam client, in which case it is within one of Steam's protected directories and can't be changed by outside means).
Make a backup copy of this file before you change anything. (In case the game crashes after you save changes, use your backup to restore the settings.)
Scroll down to [VoiceChat] section. Towards the bottom, in the line that says InputDevice=type your microphone name here exactly as it appeared on the settings page inside the game. So for me, that line reads InputDevice=Microphone (3- Logitech USB Hea. It doesn't seem like you have issues hearing others though, so you can leave the OutputDevice=Default System Device or whatever it is already set to.
Save the file and close notepad, then start the game and see if you're still having issues. You should not open the voice settings page in game once you do this, as the useroptions.ini file gets reset to match the in-game settings if you make any changes there.
Let us know if this worked.

Thanks for help :) now i can finally speak... but yet, i got another problem, and i dont know what is causing it.
Now when i just normally play the game, in a completely random time, my sound, audio and mic just randomly stop working, althought outside the game again, it works just fine. The only way how to have the sound and so back is to restart the game. I have already reinstalled the game, and there was no change.
I thank you very much for your previouse answer, and i hope you could help my with this problem now :)

Ah yes. I have that problem to on occasion. :( I am not sure what's causing it, but I feel certain in saying it's another one of those kinks of the game. Unfortunately, you've already figured out the only known solution for this, too: restarting the game.
