Has anyone seen any MAX flamethrowers around?

They removed the flamethrower since the weapon has no niche in the field. It's a cqb weapon and giving it to everyone would be rather unfair towards NC who have no real means for long range, due to other factions would have options for both long and close range combat.

Personally, the Flamethrower sounds like an NC weapon to begin with.

They could perhaps reintroduce it as a heavy assault replacement for the rocketlauncher.
I am tired of only using guns infantry combat. This game could use some bloody flamethrowers!

Tray said the flamethrower was getting fixed because it could shoot people through walls.

I thought that they took them out after beta due to performance issues?

I really like that idea, it's an interesting trade-off - and heavies with flamethrowers would be a good fit for tunnel fighting.
