Firing Mode: Burst or Stream

The SX6 is the latest offering from Gag Mfg. and the first of a new immobilization delivery system first put in production for the Flash. By capitalizing on the speed and maneuverability of the ATV to close with a target, the weapon can be implemented in short bursts or a steady stream up to a 5m range. The silver nanite material has been specifically engineered to adhere to anything, and to immobilize vehicular or non-vehicular targets within the ultra adhesive and nearly indestructible webbing. There are already rumours that several special ops Infiltrators have modified the product for hand-held platform to great effect. How about a Prowler Turret with two gunner seats?
I could run both a Walker and the nubetube-whatsitcalled for maximum flexibility, at the cost of one extra kill for that AT-mine engie and one less soldier in the Sundy.

It's obvious they've got an engineering team worth a damn on Auraxis.

So they're taking burster weapons and retrofitting them on MBT and ESF
They were working on a mount for the liberator but decided to retrofit the Max itself into the gunners seat.

Following the increased effects of gravity on Zephyr rounds someone had the bright idea of testing them at ground level. New HE for MBT and lightning will have a 6 shot rapid fire snub nosed mortar. Sometimes it even reloads.

TR engineers were attempting to retrofit the NS Annihilator lock-on tracking to their MBT. VS stole the plans and decided to retrofited the NS Annihilator using the TRs reload mechanism. Common pool lightning modification that looks like a MLRS. Targetting is tricky for now it's still restricted to AA/AV lock-on only.

Rumours abound that following NC efforts to bring an empire buggy to auraxius all three factions are revising their heavy assault AI weaponry into heavy variants for light vehicle mounts.

I'm guessing a Liberator gun, because they're not strong enough yet. Probably napalm with a 100m radius, since the Zephyr sometimes allows an infantry player a half second to move, now they can move for a full second but are guaranteed to die.

What would be really nice, is if they introduced something completely new. Not just more variations on existing ones.

I'm talking about something more than just a new gun that shoots harder but slower or whatever.

Stuff like AV/AA EMP cannons. Low damage, no blast, very high disorientation. As an AA weapon, that could cause some pretty hilarious results. :D
Just an idea.

Shockwave based weapons? Low damage, high blast radius, pushes units away from the point of impact. Off cliffs or airpads maybe?

Time-fused bouncing HE mortar shells, for surprising those window-snipers?
(actually a horrible idea now that i think about it) ;)


Not saying any of these ideas are any good, but you get what I mean.

Also a vehicle based lock-on AA to help stem the Air superiority issue. mabye something that can fire a chain of 4 or 5 rockets that travel somewhat slower then most rockets but if a plane is dumb enough to stick around they deserve to die.

I hope so, I was really hoping that they added something like this to buggies since they are going to be really fast a lock on missile launcher would be ideal for a buggy since with a machine gun your not really going to hit shit with those high speeds unless your an extreme bad ass lol.

A close range AA gun that has 0 effect on Liberators. Close Range, against Air... brilliant. Who designs these weapons? /facepalm
ESF's are not a problem, Liberators are. I really wish SoE would listen/read to what the community is saying. It's one thing to ignore people that are perpetually discontent with the game it's another to completely ignore the masses that play daily who are asking for Liberators to be changed.

tl;dr, Liberators once again have the two best AA guns(maybe3?): A30 Walker and Dalton. The only logical counter to one is another Liberator. They changed MBT's so the cert gain was more on par with Infantry, why are you not doing the same to Liberators PS2 developers?
