Okay, I was gone for the event, but according to the Facebook page, VS won in combat. Despite that, the banners and stuff all say TR won (which most people seem to disagree on). Furthermore, it says they won a popularity vote. When does a popularity vote matter in any video game?

I normally play NC now, I like the folks there. However, credit should be given where it's due. From most of the stuff I've looked at, VS won, so why isn't SOE treating it as such?

That just boggles my mind though. They might as well say everybody is a winner if there is going to be more than one, technically speaking.

Vs won on almost every server. I think that faction might be a little out of ballance.

I thought it was funny that the event took place on Amerish, which most VS(on the servers i play) never go to, because they think the Warpgate sucks.
Yet VS dominated the event. Also, i wouldn't entirely trust their scoreboard. VS took the third event on the Waterson server, with NC coming in second for that event, and the scoreboard shows TR as winning it.

TR may have done better if TB hadn't been grand marshalling a parade in the WG during the fighting.

The events were stacked in the favor of the VS, at least on Waterson. They already owned the majority of the continent and The Bastion. Even PS2 bases can take over an hour to take with a proper defense.

Events were not stacked in anyones favour on any server.

On Miller, VS were being Warpgated 30 mins before the event started but someone on the leader channel spotted that Amerish would be the place for the events so it was called out for every outfit to load up Amerish and get at least some territory back.

We started with 40% pop and a lot of momentum and won some of the challenges as a result.

This was open to all the other factions to do, just that they didn't do it.

Ok let me rephrase, we already had a 3 way going on that was pretty intense. The only thing the event did was reward the VS for doing what they were already doing :p

The organizers could have done a much better job of explaining that there would be two separate competitions. The least that they could do is acknowledge that the VS won the in game event on the web page.

I was at the event and I understood why they gave the trophy to TB but I don't agree with it since VS won the challenges =/
