Is it just me or did they change the controls for the mosquito? It reacts so twitchy that I'm happy if I manage to fly straightforward without dying.
The mosquito nerf wasn't mentioned in the changelog, was it?

It felt the same way in the Scythe, takes some getting used to.

Go into the general game options and play with the flight vehicle sensitivity slider. The most recent update made that slider way more sensitive.

I'll give it a try, thx.

I kinda like the new settings. It makes the NCs ESF much easier to fly. It
still a floating brick, but a brick with wings.

I noticed a drop in vertical thrust on the mossie (should not have anything to do with control sensitivity), anyone else?

I was playing around with it yesterday to find out what they done to it.
It seems, that the rolling movement/sensitivity has changed.

The vertical thrust is a bit weaker and the sensitivity is higher. I prefered 0.90 for my mosquito and now I'm using 0.65. IMO its much harder to hover and keep the crosshair on target at the same time now.
Maybe we just have to get used to it. =)

My first impressions are that I find the new controls to be "slippery", kinda like the effect you get when walking/driving on ice, just with pitch/roll instead.
But then again, I haven't flown ESF that much since the new patch though, mainly due to the weapons not firing.
On the other hand the liberator and galaxy didn't feel too different, but I imagine that's because of their lower maneuverability.

I guess it might be a good idea to use the hover airframe (don't know the exact name) to bring back the maneuverability at very low speed. Maybe someone has the frame already? :groovy:

if its any note, I have moved my air sensitivity on my reaver from 69 to 52.
same with my tanks, from 55 to 25.

Are the Reaver and Scythe controls better or worse now in your opinion?

in my opinion they just are different.. don't think it's worse or better. Tried scythe / reaver / mosq (YES i was very bored and annoyed by the bugs of the update ;D)
