After looking thru the replies that Matt got it seems like we can expect the following top annoying bugs to be fixed this week.
Possibly more.

Flashing screen where textures flash and frame rate drops to nothing.

Lock on indicator bug.

Rendering.

I cannot not wait for this one, it will clear up those major bugs people have been having problems with.

Indeed. The rest of the issues can at least be ignored, but that one is a game stopper.

I hope the vehicle lava armour bug makes it in the next hotfix.

Flashing bug, Lock On indicator bug and rendering? Seem like a tall order, but if they pull this off, theirs and our game will be MUCH better.

So they have a fix for the rendering issue. I hope it works.

Those were the top issues I concluded from the replies to his request for people to tell him their top annoying bugs.
The response via posts here seem to agree with it as well.

But, there is every chance that Higby's tally of tops bugs differs to favour a more manageable list of fixes such as:

Lock on Bug
Spawning with zero health
Original UI colour option
Medkits

Imo they are all in need of a fix as well but bar the lock on issue they are not currently the top bugs reported by players.

Interesting to see what is actually fixed in the end and whatever it is it will be yet another step forward.

the rendering issues are really showing now. i can clearly see people and vehicles disappearing/appearing before my eyes, and i haven't noticed that happening before (well, idk if it has been happening before the patches, correct me if i am wrong, i only started noticing when i started to try infiltrator; a fun class btw especially at the crown).

i'm guessing that they are making the object appear as i look at their general direction; i dont want that. make it appear when i am just about to look at it to get rid of disappearing and appearing random things.

Those were birds words, not Matts....so no one really knows for sure.

So, wait a sec. Just because people tweeted about the flicker bug and rendering distance, two bugs that have been around since beta, SOE is going to decide to take a few days and fix them by Friday?

I now understand the true power of Twitter!

The lock-on bug will get fixed. But don't get your hopes up about the flicker bug or render distance.

Edit: feel free to call me negative, but I'm just being realistic.

Apparently in the world of annoying bugs in PS2 the top offenders are.

Falling dmg
Med kit resupply
Bad spawn points

Managed to find three people who tweeted about the fall damage bug.

At least Medkits had about a dozen people mention it and would like it fixed.

The bad spawn point fix was interesting as I had never heard of it being an issue but I did a search and two people tweeted that they had an issue with spawning at Stronghold and NS Refinery.

On an even more positive note, now that they have fixed these few little bugs they introduced with the last patch its three less in the way of fixing those other bugs that have annoyed us since beta.

If they don't fix the hitreg the others wont even matter. This bug needs to be top priority because for the people that have it the game is unplayable. I haven't been able to play since GU2 because of this.

Whoa. Don't get your hopes up. That flickering has been a known issue for months (even in beta, I think someone said).

I mean, I'm cynical, but anyone who thinks SOE will pound out a fix for a months-old bug in a few days just because a lot of people on Twitter brought it up when asked... put me to shame.
