I'll take this opportunity to say I miss the Implants from Tech Test. Faster reload, faster ADS, etc. Anyone here feel we should get another Implant Slot at a certain level. Even if high, like 40?

What could we do with it? Well, there's what we already have. Stack more XP, Squad XP or Resource Boost.

I truly miss the implants. The faster reload was really useful. I would love to have it back no matter what level.

Aren't proper implants (ie. not XP/resource boosts, but actual bonuses to character abilities) on the roadmap somewhere?

Sure. Not like game can get more instagibby than it already is, so what's it going to hurt.

Well you could use implants to reduce Vehicle timers. Not to sure about these.

The implants which improved Stats such as ADS/reload where awesome.

Yes from me. As long as there's a lvl cap.

Shouldn't it be a first implant slot, considering we don't have an implant slot? We only have boost slots right now, right? Don't tell me they're in the game and I've been missing them this whole time... -_-

That is true, boosts replaced implants. Same thing to me.

Not the way it was implemented in beta. This is how it should work:

Permanent implants => only available through certification
Temporary implants => can be bought with SC as well


Implants are upgrades, not side-grades which makes buying them with SC kinda tricky.

There is of course always the issue of the strong getting stronger or weaker getting weaker, which might probably a reason they removed the implants that where straight upgrades.

As a level 1 character, you have a reasonably fair chance now in a gunfight vs a level 100 character. Implants might tip that balance too much, making the game more frustrating for new players.
