Data Link: Outfit Pages

We have deployed our first implementation of PlanetSide 2 Outfit Data!! :D

The data is a live roster for all members of your outfit sortable by last login and rank. To get to an outfit page simply go to a character in the Outfit and click the Outfit Link on their profile page.

Enjoy! I know lots of people have been looking for this feature. We intend to do much more with this page, this is just the first iteration. Suggestions welcome!

Sorting is more complicated than it looks. We really wanted to get it in place here because it's the most requested feature. We will deploy it to other pages as well at some point.

The members list is the full roster we get from the API, the leaderboard is just those that have been looked up. Have a list of some names missing from the member list? I can check and see if I can discover what is happening.

And as Gryphon said - the main "Members" tab will be your full outfit listing. The "Leaderboard" tab is just chars who have looked up their full stats on PSU.

What you are seeing is the full roster EVILPIG - also Gryphon has updated it so it now displays ALL outfit members on the leaderboard tab of an outfit.

You should change the "Last login" page to not display a date, but instead display "Days since last login", that information is much easier to process at a glance than having to read a date.

The obvious feature to add w/ this is outfit rankings. Could sort it by kills, XP, ect.

Yes, we have been bugging the API guys about Briggs every few days. There is some connectivity issues because it is an Australian server.

ActionBowman is not found when just doing a straight character query on the API. I wonder you have a lot of ghost characters on the roster that have been deleted or something else. If you know that ActionBowman is an active player, I can pass it along to the API people.

Looking at the 666 outfit page, they have some members that hadnt been online since Nov 22nd.. Clearly they aint coming back to play PS2

Similar here .... we have 348 members in game but only 310 on the list, Miller server.

Wow my outfit looks pitiful... I hate that we had a situation where one of the officers went through and cleared out over 3/4 of our outfit. Thank God they found out who it was and kicked them out...

We will need actual characters missing from our list that are actually in your game. They need to be verifiable active characters or as Gryphon said they could have been removed.

Also, did you count the characters? :lol: There's no count in game is there?

It has improved greatly since I asked. It shows way more members and has them numbered. That is awesome. The total is still short though, so some folks aren't showing.

Looks great so far. Two things, can we get the sort by rank to sort in rank order, rather than alphabetically? And, for many characters the "most played weapon" is the Mag-Cutter. Well yeah, but not very informative. Can we get most played primary weapon or something more telling?

We need some names it validate, otherwise we can't do anything. There is also probably no guarantee that the in-game roster is accurate, it's possible it could have deleted characters etc stuck in it.

It is starts with, containing is not available at the moment in the API.

Exactly what I was just coming on here to suggest lol. Makes allot of sense, would be really convenient. Can't count on my hands and feet how many times I've been like "uuuh who is RGP?" "Who is HZM1?".

Although AVG kills may get skewed by outfits with 1 player in them.
