i dunno.. I was pretty stoaked about this game until I tried the multiplayer demo.. seemed like it had horrible netcode or something.

You could just continue posting here at PSU to get ready for the game. That, or pay the devs a few thousand dollars to get into beta immediatly.
There, I flamed.

ya, renegade was not as good as I had hoped.. :(
I had no expectations for the game so based on that I have to say it was pretty fun though lag was a fairly big issue.

It just didn't feel like C&C though, well come to think of it no game since the original red alert has really felt like C&C :(

Diablo 2 isnt a very good RPG game. NWN is great, as is morrowind (although it takes a good com to run it)

good game to relive the wait
Because if there's one thing we want to relive, over and over, it's the wait before Planetside came out.

C&C Renegade has a decent single player mode but while the multi player has the ability to be an awesome experience, it's generally ruined by the net code Westwood apparently hired monkeys to write. I heard they were fixing that but as I borrowed the game to a friend after completing it, and forgot who, I haven't been able to test that myself.
NWN is really fun until you've beat it and even then has some replay value due ot the ability to play through will different classes. Once you've gone through once or twice you'll probably be rather tired of the plot. Good news is you can download new plots and sotried that others have made. Bad news is they aren't exactly tiny. If you enjoyed playing Diablo through time and time again, you'll probably enjoying playing this as well. I want an expansion with my epic levels, damnit :p
Personally I've been wasting my time with JK2, Deus Ex, and Master of Orion 3. I've beat JK2 and Deus Ex mulitple times, but c'mon, they're great games.
As for MoO3...I really regret playing in the largest size Galaxy. Just hit turn 700 a bit ago and things are starting to come to a crawl. Actually, that's a lie. Things started to hit a crawl after about turn 300. Right now I guess I'd describe it as the speed molasis travels downhill near the Arctic in January.
Even with that, MoO3 is still fun (mostly because I love designing and building ships). Only reason I don't play it more is there seems to be some issue with the age of my CD drive and the copy protection of MoO3. It spins up every 30-60 seconds for about 10-20 seconds, then resumes. This gets old after about 15 minutes. It gets bloody hindering akward after about an hour, and any longer than that and I start looking for babies to eat. Supposedly copying the music files to the HD is supposed ot stop this, but at least for me, it didn't fix anything. In short, good game if it will run for you properly.

Y'all should pick up Raven Shield. It's a bit more action oriented then the past Rainbow Six titles. The Multi Player is great, so far co-op is even more entertaining than versus mode. theres like 5 bajillion and 3 weapons in this game too, lighty customizable too, it's good times if your in to the "squad based tactics" genre, or if CS has pushed you to the limit. I know I've don'e all I can with that game hehe, it's still a kick now and then, but that engine is dying. Natural selection is also kool if you have patience during FPSers.
edit: im not even gonna fix all the typo horrors in this one, i just got off work and im cranky! RAWR!
