I think this is the new heavy beamer, the old one will stay in the game.
I do hope they balance these well, they better not be better than the starting pistol.

T-Ray confirmed it's the new heavy beamer. Pictures like these make me wish they would put more effort in keeping the current arsenal fresh.

Id rather they bring back the old VS weapon designs. The old Pulsar looked tenfold better then the current one (which looks exactly the same as every single carbine/AR/shotgun/lasher/LMG for VS)

If the beginning pistols looked awesome, soe might have a hard time selling new weapons.

Did anyone else noticed that most NC weapons have some sort of unfinished Cartridge ejection holes on their weapons, although all their guns run on Railgun technology, which uses caseless bullets as ammo?
Why the hell have something like that on such weapons? I always found that unnamussing. =x
On a second note, yes, we want all weapons to look differently, thank you. Keep it up SOE

According to NC lore, their weapons are gauss hybrids, not railguns. This means that they're magnetically assisted traditional chemical combustion firearms, and thus their ammunition has cartridges like any other.
You'd think this would also equate to a higher average bullet velocity than the other factions but this doesn't appear to be the case. This is one of the reasons why the most popular NC weapons are the ones that have rate of fire and clip sizes more common on TR and VS weapons, because the unforgiving nature of the low-RoF gauss-assisted weapons is problematic in a game where accuracy tends to be less important than one's ability to mash the spacebar and spray bullets at the target.

That beamer is a lot more purple. It's like it came out of PS1, and no one informed it that the VS dress like ninja's now.
