Hey All!

It's that time again! We have had some turnover on the Moderator front with only Goku now as a dedicated moderator. In typical fashion there's lots of turnover in this sort of position as people just completely disappear or stop playing the game.

As with last time we are going to do nominations! I will still make the final decision but I want the community to be involved in the initial process.

I would like people to Send me a PM (http://www.planetside-universe.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=1) and nominate one individual you think would be a good moderator. There are only a couple requirements:

You CANNOT nominate yourself.
Do not wage a campaign to get nominated. I will know.. ;)
Must be registered for at least 2 months.
This person must be active at least a few hours a day to be effective.
Person must not have any infractions against them (There is no way for you to know this unfortunately.)

In your PM please include the following:

The persons Forum name (duh)
Why you think they would make a good forum moderator.

It's not a popularity contest so x amount of votes does not win you the spot. This person will also not become PSU Staff, but they will certainly work hand in hand with us.

So fire away! I look forward to your nominations.

I have those thong most days, though I have no tolerance for bullying, etc. I'm around enough to do the job and I am willing to be nominated, though I am pretty sure no one would nominate me. :D

Even if someone is NOT nominated, can they still be picked if, say, they were up here every day? Reading ALL of the threads? Every single word? And is, say, a good "judges of thread posts?"

Until recently I thought Hamma was the only actual mod on the site. Seems like a chill job most of the time. Not like this board is overly strict. Maybe I just miss a lot of the good stuff.

Over all it isn't bad thankfully. The forum was had a lot more issues prior to the opening of the official forums. Many of those who caused issues have either left to go there or just dropped off the face of the Earth.

I look forward to seeing some new good moderators on here. Now, not for nothin' but we need some moderators that can really mete out the justice. I'm really hoping we get people that can lay down the law. Back in the day, Hamma used to swing the ban hammer liberally. He earned his nickname as the Ban Hamma! Ah, those good 'ol days!
