Does anyone know when we will be getting the Certs reset?
I know I have ploughed certs into stuff that is near useless now.

I Recall no cert reset being announced.
If it does come, I'm sure it will be a store item.

You will have to cert pretty far into the Respec Tree before you unlock that ability I'm afraid, well that or the a fore mentioned cash shop purchase...

Unless you created into them just as the nerf occurred you really didn't loose anything, I spent real cash and certs on the HE prowler, I still used it to farm the shit out of the NC and VS for a month or two, certs well spent imo

Never. We will never get one.
Don't cert OP stuff and hope what you've certed doesn't become OP.

I dont think of it as nerfing but more as balancing. But as it is Ive only used my skyguard once. Maybe one day they will fix it so its worth a damn.

Spend certs to make certs.

If it was nerfed, it was nerfed for a reason. It's not the devs fault you bought something that was OP fully knowing that they reserved the right to balance it.

At least it's not like you have a max amount of cert points you can have.

Did nobody read the roadmap (http://www.planetside2.com/roadmap)?
March - Convenience Items
There are a handful of items we would like to add to the Depot that will allow players to accomplish some commonly requested actions through an SC purchase:
-Certification Reset
-Name Change
-Server Transfer
I'm looking forward to that too, I certed too much shit I never use.

sweet, i would like a cert reset as well. i have a couple of things that i regret spending crap on. hurry up and add in the update, SOE!
that is near useless now.
uh huh... anything that's no longer OP/broken.... is near useless to you....
Why exactly though does this entitle you to a complete Cert respec?

Cheers Sturmhardt.
Nice one :D
@ VGCS
This thread is what is known as a question.
I didn't say anything about being entitled to a re-cert.
There is no need to be an argumentative prick

Haha I know right! They devs put out a guideline of what they are going to put in the game and ask for input and people dont even know what features are being introduced. lol.
I think the cert reset will be the best selling item SOE puts in the Depot. No doubt will be 700SC like pretty much EVERYTHING. I would hope it would only be 250-500.

A cert reset is a major overhaul, and as thus should require a huge investment in thought regarding doing it and how often.
Too cheap and people reset non stop, so I think 1000 SC is probably a good place to price something like this up.
Purely from a not wanting to have people cert every day point of view

It's a slippery slope on the cert reset.
On the one hand... people want it... on the other - if I don't really need to earn more certs because I can just reset them -- maybe I get rid of my sub.
Instead of refunding or allowing a respec - I think it would be better if SOE just awarded "adjustment" certs to people that have purchased some item that has had its balance changed.
Doesn't have to be the full amount.. it can just be like 250... but something that keeps the sub incentive and the incentive for players to want to get more certs.... ie. they don't get anything if balance is changed to something they don't own.

I wonder how servers and battles are going to look when the people with SC to spare re-cert for the new fotm everytime right after the patch hits.
I bet you now that the new farm will be anti-cyclic...

I know that having a cert reset would be a huge benefit.
I wouldn't mind getting back some of the certs I spent on useless items lol
