Anyone who has played engineer for a decent period of time knows what point I'm about to make. The terrain that the turret can be placed on is widely inconsistent.
You can place a turret on a slight incline with no problem, but trying to place it on a slight decline is nearly impossible. You have to use this weird mechanic of placing it sideways and hoping that you can get a deploy.
With the addition of a very useful turret I'm finding myself using the MANA turret much more than before. Finding a good place to attack an armor column, then finding out you can't deploy your turret facing them is frustrating to say the least.
Here is an example of attempting to deploy the turret. This is a single pixel in movement on the same incline.
