The intentionally gimped vanu babe

I decided for no real good reason to start a character on which i won't use any certs at all. The goal is to reach BR100 without using any certs and money (well, except for some camo, because vanu female). You can view "her" progress in my sig.

At first i thought about a "pacifist" character who solely does support, but that would be too insane (for now).

Any other silly/unique character ideas around? Knifing only maybe? :D

It will be very hard to get through. However, if you have an audience throughout the process and manage to set a record, it might be worth it in the end. Won't blame you if you give up though.

Go with one other person once the update rolls around and never, ever leave your flash. Spend all the certs on cooldown timers and a flash gun so you can always have a flash. Nothing but drivebys.

You can arbitrarily do most things an extra hard way - it just takes longer. Im not sure why people get a sense of satisfaction out of doing something in an awkward manner but I guess some people like it.

Its like walking across America - wearing one shoe. If it makes you happy - thats nice.

Well it's not a "pacifist" character, so the "hard way" is not really that hard. And i'm in no hurry so whenever i feel like noobtubing i'm logging onto the babe. :J
Infact, so far my xp/hour and k/d ratio on that char is way better than on my TR main lol (probably just was a lucky playsession).

Only thing is, it will be very hard to resist spending certs should i hit the barrier of 10k certs(i think it was 10k?). Well maybe i can tweak this in a way so i atleast don't waste certs (like buying stuff but not using it...we'll see).

I did something similar in COD Black Ops (1); did entire prestiges using an unusual weapon (Skorpion SMG) or class of weapons (LMGs). But prestiging didn't take that much effort; nothing like getting to BR100! Not sure that I could be bothered.

But if I did; I would probably go for a pacifist character, a Medic, and never kill anyone. Would result in the worst K/D ever but could result in a decent score rate.

Or perhaps you should consider something unusual like an AV MAX; I certainly have a great time with Dual Falcons (my most played loadout), and I don't see many other AV Maxes about.

I don't think that I could resist certing up though; would be a very long haul without having certs to aim for.

Wasnt there some TR dude doing the same thing to show that you can be just as effective in game with out all the certs?
He was going to stream it each time he got on, I remember Clegg pimping it or issuing the challenge.


I'll have to go back and check who it was.
