Had an idea the other day.
Imagine this. 6 months into the game, your engaged in a battle over a base when suddenly a strange, dominating black clad character appears in the battle. He begins tossing players left and right with waves of his arms, causing immense devastation. Near invunerable to damage, he clears the battle field then disappears. No one survives.
He's not recognisable as any side, wearing some evil looking armour.
He's an automoton created by the planet to repel these pesky insects running over it's surface, disrupting it's power matrix by grafting human technology on (in the form of bases).
He has no name. There's only one per server, and he only appears now and again.
He's actually controlled by a GM and would add a certain RP element to the game, some mystery and some much needed spice; maybe something for the factions to team up against, if temporarily.
I know that this may be;
1) Lame to be killed like this after spending an hour preparing your attack.
2) Bring a RP element that this game has almost completely moved away from.
But just imagine the mystery and discussions this would invoke, as well as the response when he's spotted again? Could be the beginning of the continuing story of Auraxis.
