I am NC but I like VS and TR helmets the best. Our helmet look like dead space suit helmet. Not ugly but not sexy as well.

NCs need some fashion designer to hire :=)

I prefer the NC one to be honest. VS ones look kinda the same as the current ones. And the TR one looks like a Gimp mask :D

Am I the only one that likes the NC one most? I dunno...I dislike the VS one the most...most of their helmets for the infiltrator look the same though in my opinion. Do like their Light Assault mask though.

I find it interesting that people like this style of VS helmet. Everyone seems to want their character to be less visible with camo, always opting for the darker camos, but with the helmet you guys are fine with the brightest colored ones available yet :P

The wlding mask and Deadspace helmet comparisons mak sense for the NC realy. the Dead Space armor was a mining suit correct? and the NC are supose to use a lot of repurpoused equipment. I remeber readign somewhere that the first MAX suits were mining exosuites repurpoused by the NC acording to lore.

After seeing how much time Matt Broome has put in to those other concept helmets and listening to Higby say how they are putting more time into the new items and using the ESRL's as the benchmark from now on, I'll be saving my cash for the really good stuff.

I like them; but I can't help but think it'd look more in place on the engineer class for the NC, the TR inf (although admittedly gimp mask like) I think will look pretty good and above all intimidating. Same goes for the VS. I think when they release these cross-class helmet styles they sometimes suit one class better than the others; just personal opinion though.

Originality ? Where ? News NC and TR are derivated from original MAX helmets and VS from iniltrator one (why does they change infiltrator one by near the same ???).

Sci-Fi helmets they made (and finish for TR and VS) where really better :

Does designers receive order to make the most helmet variations they can (to had some $ on SOE wallet) before interesting stuffs ? And when I say "interesting" I don't whant say "new designs" because they look like so many helmets already design before (Strormtrooper for TR, UNSC Spartan for NC). Just wait for NC predator helmets :ncrocks:

I hope this isn't the first in the new series the art guy was talking about that was supposed to really define the factions. If it is then I hope the remaining classes look better. I wouldn't say they look bad, but it's not what I was hoping for from the way they were talking about them.

Other than the NC helmet, they honestly all look pretty generic.

When I saw new helmets in the headlines, I thought that "Protoss" was another name for Sci-fi. That's the one helmet I'm pretty stoked for.

If Broome (I think the guy that designs helmets) is reading, please make the helmets a bit more distinct from the currently available helmets, the VS LA's helmet looks like the front of the VS infil except the visor is more defined. The TR looks like the TR's infil helmet. Out of the six models, NC's helmet I would be the only one I would consider buying because of how it stands out from what's currently available.

Just trying to provide a bit more constructive feedback than the previous guys.

I previewed them before the Server craped out again (at least the VS one). And they are ugly :( They are again a "Mask" that sits on top of the normal helmet... the difference to the hockey masks is that this one goes over the ears. Still the back of the head is the normal helmet. -_-

LA Maniac Helmet which is basically the same thing was only 500 SC and even that was too high imo.

Well definitely what I wasn't expecting based on the front views.. the NC "mask" kind of looks like it wasn't finished when viewed from any angle but front facing...

A little disappointing really when it looks (in my opinion) decent from the front; would've been better as an actual helmet and not a TF2 style mask.

Yes a little more but not that much. The visor of the helmet is the same as the NC MAX one.

I was wrong about the 'welding mask" I was not aware that your current camo would transfer to the mask as well.
That imo makes them pretty awesome.

This is the same bug that has existed since the beginning if the game with no fix insight.....

The reason behind this is characters that were started when the game began, the default helm stays on when you add the SC bought helms, so you end up with this "glitch".

If you create a brand New alt Vanu char and add this helm, seeing as items bought are account wide now, you will not have this glitch.

A simpler option is to go to VR training and add the new helm on the char created in there, you will find the helm looks fine with no glitch, as the VR char is considered a new char bound to your account.

Try it.....

Numerous bug reports and no fix in sight so I just gave up

Tried the VR thing, no luck there. Not going to re-roll a toon just to get a helm to work that shouldn't be broke in the first place.

I'm still debating whether to get this one for my Engineer, it would fit in nicely with the whole repairing theme. But then again, the Apex helmet could suit the class well too.
