worse than pay 2 win

i finally had some time to check the weapons in the glorious new VR area, and now i feel totally ripped off!

the devs promised to keep the game free from pay 2 win, and whenever somebody said the game was p2w i fought on soes side because i really thought the concept worked.

but now after testing the weapons in VR i am very disappointed that i cannot even buy the only gun i really like!

the best gun in the game (in my opinion) is the ns11 platinum, and even for real money i cannot buy it because it´s US gamestopcard exclusive.
but i already bought my SC before the game was released and there are no gamestops in my country.

so why is this exclusive a real weapon, instead of something cosmetic?

or is there a weapon with same stats and feel as the ns11 platinum just with a not so stylish skin/model i missed?

Same stats and slightly different skin. The platinum is more white by default I believe. The NS-11a is completely identical to the NS-11p though.

i looked for info about ns11 a and p before posting my rant but couldn´t find any data on them. and like i said, in the vr the platinum felt more accurate. maybe i messed up by forgetting to equip a forward grip or something.

That's because vr isn't the best place to compare and test weapons. It gives an idea of how the gun behaves, but a lot of guns can feel overpowered there. When in actual battle, they might suck.

Since we are on the topic of 'unavaible' guns.. How much better does the facebook gun feel to the stock TX1, the sounds are much better and feels like it fires slightly faster (although having same stats as the TX1)

VR might be a bad testing ground to figure out if a gun is good or not, but it is still a good way of comparing how the guns handle. especially in terms of recoil/accuracy/bullet-drop and the likes.

are there more exclusive guns in the game?

VR is a great place for me to convince myself I've found an uber weapon, only to buy it with SC and then find I still suck in all real in-game situations.

if i wanted to revive old japanese traditions that are forbidden nowadays, i would chose another tradition:
whenever a shogun on the move had to take a dump, he would enter a strangers house and put a turd on the floor in the middle of the room... without losing a word. the happy family who lived in the house would then pick up the turd and show it around in town with pride because they have been blessed!

In the right hands, and with practice (i.e. the more you use it in combat situations), just about any gun can be good. I'll never get people who go through guns like they're going out of fashion.
