For those of you who don't know, homeworld was the first (and best) RTS to allow full 3D movement. Lotsa new previews for hw2 out, and it's lookin cool! Not as cool as planetside maybe, but definitely worth a look.

True, nothing can match planetside, but I'll still need some RTS goodness every now and then.

hey anyone here playing or have played project earth ?
I just picked it up cause it was cheap and wholy crap ,its got a bit of a steep learning curve ,I get to the third level and I keep failing it ? anyones it feels alot like the homeworld series.:D

that doesn't look like an rts, isn't an rts like c&c generals/warcraft 3 type of game? or are those from cutscenes or something

It is a RTS, and that is NOT a cutscene.

The great thing about Homeworld is it is completely three-dimensional, with full camera control. Beautiful game too.

HOMEWORLD 2!!! Sweet. Loved the first game, but my disk was magnitized or something before I could beat it.
