Can anyone confirm which system the alerts use? I haven't had time to test it.

Does the percentage for each faction indicate:

1) the number of individual hexagon tiles they control on the map

or

2) the number of territories?

System 1 means a tech plant is worth 7 tiles, and Ayani Labs is worth 2 tiles, and J908 is worth 6.

System 2 means a tech plant is worth 1, Ayani labs is worth 1, and J908 is worth 1.

We started the first few alerts thinking it was individual tiles, so we went for the biggest hexes on purpose, but I'm not sure that's correct anymore. There's some debate amongst my outfit and in /leader chat, so I figured I'd come here and ask.

I think it is individual hexes robo. So bigger territories are worth more. It sure looks that way when you view the map.

Honestly I guess it still needs testing but I am almost positive it is based on the number of individual hexes.

This would be good to know. If it was hex base instead of territory, it would add another element to consider and make certain outposts much more valuable to control and hotly contested. You can imagine the sudden change in hotspots if this was the case.

The formula is largely unknown - just a guessing game :(
