I know there is no grief pts for a squad, and i'm guessing none for a platoon, but, is there a way for 2 or more platoons to hook up to do some ownage, while not giving each other grief points? Cause i'd think that in the future, I might make an outfit of numerous platoons and would like the platoons to work together with out having to worry about grief pts.

only way to have a bigger group than a platoon, is an outfit, the same as a clan or guild.

ugh!, I know that. So can people in the same outfit give each other grief?

Carlessness should be punished.

That said, I'd like it if you could toggle off whether or not FF on you would give grief points. If you don't mind a little friendly fire now and then, but don't want to weapon lock an ally, you should be able to turn your grief point giving condition off.

a switch for wheter or not hitting you should produce greifpoints would be nice yeah...

Has it been said that hitting your platoon members won't produce greif points? AFAIK the only FF that dosn't give greif is squads.

I am pretty sure there are no grief points within an outfit.

In my opinion, the switch would include a tolerance that allowed you to specify the amount of grief you're willing to take before you start assigning points to people. That way you could turn it off and intentional TKs would still get their whatfor if they took more than 35 points off.

There's going to be some asshole jumping in front of my tank/buggy or skydiving to hit my Galaxy in the windshield so he can grief people. There needs to be a limit on how much grief a single person can give out in say, 24 hours.
