Remember Planetside 1. You had a Favorites Tab. Which was opened on default when accessing a equipment terminal.
Then you could simply press numbers 1-10 and jump right into that loadout.
If you played PS1 you would know exactly what im talking about. This would be great to have in planetside 2. Simply create your loadout. Then save it as a qucik selection.
What do you think? As the current loadout screen is terrible.

I dunno why it even ever changed. 3 loadouts is simply not enough if your counting all the cosmetics and weapon attachments

I would be Happy with a quick selection of 12.

Would like the PS1 option included and 3 is not enough.
I expect we'll probably be hit with a SC fee to have more than 3.

Being able to quickly select which loadout to use via a favorites menu would be lovely.
More loadouts are coming, afaik, as member benefits.

Yea its kinda unfortunate but PS2 just doesnt seem as diverse and have sooo much variety as ps1 did yett.. Im sure well get there soon but now its quite generic stuff.. Still 3 loadouts its not enough :/ Also i dont like the fact that it always selects the first loadout of the class and you have to pick the one you want always..
Would be better if the streamline it more so that u can do it like ps1 and just press 1 or 2 n spawn..
+1 to this, bind a hot-key to selected class load-outs. You know its interesting how much PS2 is slowly migrating towards PS1 mechanics. Just like T_Ray said on Command Center 12, everything comes full circle. Also Sanctuaries are inevitable :)

12 favorites wasn't enough for me lol
i had about 30 different loadouts i used to swap between and often had to clear old ones out.

Its not a competition :P
But yeah. PS2 wont need as many tbh.

Yes 3 load-outs is fairly limited, I don't know what the technical issues of enabling more of them would be but ideally id like to see more, 9 would be great. Currently im running an indoor/outdoor mid range/outdoor long range set up on each class but even then there are a ton of different variables created by utility slots that I have to manually tweak according to the situation.

So true. I have 6 camos, only to use in 3 classes :(

been saying it in a few places recently that we could use more load out slots, it could do with being doubled straight away to six but I would prefer to see some more.

Im more into the quick selection. Drop down menu is clunky and annoying.
I just want to use a terminal
Press Number key 3 and get on with it.

true faster the better :D but it might take a bit of time to get it to work right but if it was short term fix of doubling the limit till they sort the long term solution of having as a click and go I could live with it hehe. :)

Hotkey loadouts just have to happen. I don't want to mess with the menu boxes anymore

Where do you need so many loadout slots? 1 has been enough for me. I do have a different weapon for every slot but I never use them. But yeah, it doesn't really change the game for me, so why not have more of them. As long as they won't be priority over some important things.

3 loadouts heavily annoy me. We need 12+.

Continent and area specific camo's plus situational weapon and equipment load outs, they do start to wrack up when you get so many new toys like SOE have been throwing out.
I just hate having to redo all my load outs every time I hop a warp gate, plus sometimes if it's emergency call then you don't have time to make the changes before getting thrown into combat, heck even if it isn't an rush my outfit hates hanging around for any length of time. Especially with people messing around with their makeup :D
P.S.
More load out slots = more stuff I'd buy from the SOE store tbh cos I'd have somewhere to put it and use it at quick notice.

I've not felt the need for more than 3 so far, but then I haven't splashed out on continent specific camo. Yet.

ABSOLUTELY YES.
...... with this crowd, when everyone agrees ...... you know it's a great idea / no-brainer.

Yes please! Hit 4 to go to Engie screen, hit 2 to select second loadout. Bam, bam. (Other possible configurations of course.)
I so often spawn with a kit other than the one I selected, so bad.
Also, more loadout slots! Dang.

Personally I would like to see the loadout screen work in a way where a number 1-6 corresponded to a class and after that numbers 1-3 would choose your loadout, simple and clean without 12 clicks.

Glad you think so, been on my mind ever since beta. My only other FPS experience is Counter-Strike so that's where I draw the idea from.
