Where do these infiltrators keep finding enemies so stupid? That, or this just can't happen on Waterson for some reason...

Nice job!

Have to give props where it is due. (Good thing I am not in that video)

Oh it happens on Waterson. My favorite is running into a crowd and just swinging my knife at people.

Oh it happens on Waterson too. It just takes a lot of situational awareness. You have to find those groups of infantry zerglings that have been entrenched for a while, are lazy and asleep, and are not expecting an enemy infiltrator to be right there in their midst.

I like how you change your position whenever you're found out. Too often infiltrators find such a good spot that they aren't willing to maneuver and give it up. You can always come back to it, but if some of them know you're there, move.

It isn't about the enemy being stupid, it's about you getting to a place they think they control.

He used the cover of a live fire fight to slip past a bunch of people with his cloak. That is EASY to do in a stale mate like a Bio-Lab if you can see when/where to do so. Countless times Iv shot a cloaked teammate because I just don't see the little tit above him. I have to second guess just about every cloaked person I see thanks to that and Im certain everyone else does the same.

All you have to do is get out of a persons line of sight before de-cloaking. Even if everyone has their back to you just wait until you get to cover before de-cloaking. Then focus on the people in the rear or medics if able. Iv been able to a few things like in the video and I almost never play Infiltrator.

A few short tips
-Use hard cover
-Never look at a person dead on
-Never run right at a person
-Act like a cloaked enemy (ignore/run past people if you can)
-Use your squad/pubs as a decoy
-Weave in and out of enemies if getting fire to make them get grief or stop shooting you

Yep. Good example is that I had instant actioned in on a base that was overrrun by Vanu. I run into a building and it took a good while for someone to realize that there's an NC infiltrator running around with a knife stabbing everyone.

What I find that really helps is not showing up on the radar as an enemy. Suppressors and melee are a must. Sadly your cloak noise will have you pop up on a radar but following Chewy's advice will help you mitigate that.

I love the suicide at the end.

You would be surprised how often I am able to do things like this as an infiltrator. What surprises me most is how often I can do it uncloaked.

My temptation to buy these shorter-range sniper rifles increases. I been rolling with the RAMS .50, and lately I am starting to find the FAR FAR AWAY infiltrator style not to my liking. Perhaps I should buy some of these IN YOUR FACE sniper guns.

My only peeve about them is even the ones that don't come with a pre-rigged scope have sniper-weave. If you want to snipe without sniper-weave you need to buy a scout rifle.

Lol I agree. I've tried doing stuff like that a few times, but more often than not (i.e 99% of the time) I am spotted while cloaked and fired upon by multiple enemies...

However, looking at their names, and the fact they obviously can't distinguish enemy faction cloaker sound - they must be nubs.

It was nice, I also got my faction close range bolt action sniper rifle.
Is perfect for silent head shots from a close advantage point, like a building behind them while they are all distracted firing at the enemy.
I used to use my standard long range bolt action sniper for that, but I did realize I could have been killing a lot faster the enemies if I were using the close range one.
I am already considering to buy a 3,4 scope for it! Some say the 4x is too much and the reflex, the red dot on it don't let you have a perfect aim for head shots with it.
Also tried it with no sight and a silencer for really nice infiltration role in enemy "secure" bases.

lol nice vid mate, you seem to have found the nub party there. Every day I play I see the same thing with people getting entrenched and as Illtempered so nicely put it "lazy and asleep" but I would also add the word "stupid". I never belive anywhere I am standing is safe, even if it's at the centre of 200 TR maxes in the warp gate.

To be fair, I've on occasion (rarely to be honest, but even more than once is enough to make me wonder) managed to sneak up on people in some of the "trenches" in Indar in MBTs. Nothing like seeing them scatter or try to hide as a fully crewed Vanguard appears behind them opening fire. So it really doesn't suprise me that you can pull these things off with a cloaker, when people don't even notice the 20 ton tank circling behind them.

Is the SAS-R the one that you don't need to hold your breath for?

Im a bit torn bout this. I mean do I REALY need those mid range scopes? If i put a silencer on the bolt driver i get almost the exact same functionality. I just wish i could trial it in actual combat with a 4x scope and a silencer. An ironsight isnt exactly ideal for a weapon like this.
