which one(s) and why?

AP on the prowler.
I don't think I've actually ever used it outside of beta because HEAT has always been the better option. And how often is your main threat an opposing tank anyway.

I'd like it back for my crow, because they replaced it with the superior anhilliator. I'm kind of pissed about this thing they do with releasing weapons, nerfing them, and then releasing superior versions of them.

I would go for mag AP rounds. Always use the stock gun as it kills tanks and infantry. If the AP rounds REALLY messed up tanks and vehicles like it should, i would use it all the time.

Camos, after the recent art passes that changed them.

Almost everything. Shotguns were underpowered even before nerf so I haven't used them for a while. Most of the carbines aren't that good, default and pulsar c would be more than enough. Manticore, I don't know about that, since it got buffed a bit, but I used certs for commissioner, so now I have to use that. 2nd tier smg is ok, but I don't want to cripple myself to close range so I haven't used that much.
Ns-11c isn't that good, but I'm happy I bought it, since it gives me a greatly different experience compared to the dull sounding vanu weapons. So, pulsar c and ns-11c would be the only bought items that I wouldn't refund, everything else would be refunded.

Nemesis - only effective in groups and replaced by the superior Annihilator
AP for Ligthning - not strong enough in AV to get rid of AI capabilities
HE for Lightning - I do not see the point when you can just roll with HEAT. The difference in AI is small, the difference in AV noticeable
AP primary for Magrinder - same as above
Skyguard - While fun to use, not effective enough. A max does everything way better
Rocketpods - While not a bad weapon (actually, it's too good /imho) I despise their whole design and concept. Stupid weapon.
ESF AA missiles - useless
Only stuff left is my shotty and my smg. Which are okayish. I doubt I would buy them again, but they are, besides cosmetics almost the only thing I would keep.

Uhm, I'm not positive on all this stuff, but if the CROW is the ground lock-on rocket launcher for the NC, I'm pretty sure it's better at disposing of ground targets than the Annihilator is.
I figure the same must be true of the AA launcher versus air being superior to the annihilator. I've been hit by an annihilator rocket in my ESF before, and it did a measly 17%. Pathetic.
I think the Stryker might be superior to all the previous lock-ons, though, which kinda sucks for those like me who have all of them.

The coplaints about thel ock on launchers are frankly idiotic. The old launchers do more damage lock on faster and can be dumbfired. Claiming that the Anihilator is "vastly superior" is just jumping on a bandwagon.
Sure you can use it against both air and tanks but its inferior in both those roles simply becouse of its pitifull damage.
The only reason i even have it is that its cheaper to get it instead of the 2 specialised ones.

The camos that I bought before the camo update. My Sundy now sticks out like a mansion in a trailer park instead blending right in to the background. It really annoys me because before the pdate, I would be moving down a road (not even stopping) when an ESF or a Liberator flew by, and didn't even get shot at. Now, II get shot at even if I'm standing still... It's really starting to piss me off. Why SOE did this, I don't even have the slightest idea. If it was some sort of bug, then it should have been fixed IMMEDIATELY, and should not have been waited on.

Second Pounder.
The trajectory was difficult to handle before GU7, but they have increased the gravity from 2 to 10; I might as well be throwing bricks at tanks. The Pounder was lame before but it is utterly worthless now.

Both are best used in groups. A single lock on launcher won't change anything. For single user use there are better options against AA and AV.
And when in a group the shorter lock on timer and higher damage doesn't matter anymore. You are overkilling your target anyway. Also the group being able to kill any approaching vehicle is way more valuable then any of the benefits of the dedicated launchers.
It's the same problem with many of PS2 weapons balance. They look equal on paper, but once you use them within their respective combat scenario, one becomes the better choice.

I'm sad to say that the weapons that I have bought were with certs :(. I spent 760 certs into my trac 5 s. 730 into my TMG 50. 290 into my default Trac 5. 190 into my carv. So many certs I have wasted on guns that are useless for maybe 1 or 2 things, instead of getting my preferred weapon right away, the t5 amc. I also spent SC on things that I wish I hadn't. I spent SC on my rotary cannon for my mossi, which was totally useless due to it being only 250 certs. I would die for a cert reset and a SC reset, because now I'm getting multi-use camo sets and I have many of my classes made out with single use ones, which irks me.

I own every vanu lmg , I'd drop them all and keep the pulsar lsw and the Flare .
The first gen Submachine gun - 2nd gen is just so much better
The phobos shotgun - I use the pandora too much
Battle rifle - even after the recoil buff is too lackluster damage wise ( better use a flare or ursa with 6x scope )
Manticore pistol - wont ever use after the NS pistols

I must admit I bought the Trac 5 S and after using it for a bit found I didn't like it.
I use the T5 AMC too now, it's great.

Things that are useless for me:
A2A missles/rocketpods -- I had this vision that I was going to be some awesome flier, so I figured what the hell, with triple station cash at Christmas, I'll buy this and try to fly. Nope. Should have learned my lesson from PS1, because I couldn't fly for shit in that game, either.
Dual Mercies -- just never used them that much (not a big MAX user), and now they're nerfed on top of that
Annihilator -- completely obsolete due to Striker
Things that still have some value, but not what they used to be:
TRAC-5 S/T1S Cycler -- just don't use grenade launchers as much since the tech plant change earlier in the year. It used to be you just sat up on the balconies by the cap point and spammed grenades all day for 1-2 kills a shot, but the tech plant got changed, so that's sort of out the window.
HE Prowler -- it was great farming back in the day; just roll up to a base and hit the wall in the middle of a tower for tons of kills. I really don't use Prowler very much at all anymore.
Things that I still use every day:
Nighthawk -- really indispensable for me; don't know why I waited to buy for as long as I did
TMG-50 -- can't go outside without it, and fairly necessary when the Carv got its horizontal recoil increased
Striker -- makes Annihilator obsolete

1: NH is absolutely amazing. Use it every day over any of the shotties.
2: The reason why I wish I wouldn't have bought the TMG50 is because I payed with certs, and I almost never play HA (I mainly play Engy/LA/Infil)
3: Striker is still a must have for any TR, even if you never play HA like me.

I've bought quite a few bundles that contained lousy items and now I'm stuck with 4 guns for my Flash, lol (you only need the Fury).
I'm also sitting on 3 lock-on launchers while a single Striker is more than enough to fulfill all my lock-on needs.
One of these bundles also got me the completely useless Urban Forrest camo that makes TR look pink.
The A2A missiles have also become borderline useless since they nerfed them.
And then there's of course the Mercy that got a complete unnecessary damage nerf.
There have also been instances of weapons that got useful again though. My Walker AA gun for my Prowler was eating dust until they buffed it into a very useful anti-ESF gun.
Also the AMR-66 battle rifle will see probably more prime time now although I'm still not sure if the minor changes will be enough to justify this.

I bought all the AI MAX types (NC) when in the end, the only MAX that really has sustained battlefield value is the AA. I rolled MAX 80% of the time in PS1, but they just aren't as fun in PS2 due to the constant reloading.

The PPA on the Magrider. Pretty much just junk. The one on the Scythe too...but I may have used certs for that.

The sabs-13 that weapon is really useless, no,matter how many guides they place on YouTube.
The annihilator, since it was nerfed the only lock on rocket launcher I use it is the anti air only.
All my galaxy weapons, I really don't use the galaxie for anything.
My sandy scrub camo, it doesn't camo you in any place of the game, arid florest is a lot better for the north party of Indar, so until we got a real desert, there is no point of using it.

NS-11a : Don't know why I got it anymore
Burster : Maybe I pull a max every once in a while, but not enough to justify it.
Second Heavy Cycler : same as above
Barrage : I find that the jaguar is better in almost every scenario.
Rocket pods and everything else for mossie : I suck at flying. Don't know why I bothered.

heres the thing:
if you had to pick between having an Anti-tank rocket, an anti-air rocket and an anti-ground and anti-air rocket combination, which of the three would you pick? it makes no fucking sense to carry a crow when I have an anhilliator and a phoenix. Especially not when you have 6-7 others firing with you at the same target.

I DID get a refund on the Skyguard as it was one of the first things I purchased the day of release.
Most everything I bought early.
AMR-66 looked at the "stats" bars in game. OMG huge damage, great accuracy... its a piece of crap compared to the TMG. The bars lied.
Whatever semi-auto shotguns I purchased. They are obsolete.
The SARS or whatever the TR infil auto rifle was that was made obsolete by the SMGs.
The first SMG when the second came out that was generally better.
HE and AP prowler, Lightning and Magrider guns... because HEAT.
I think I bought every carbine. I abuse... er use the under-barrel nade launcher still so Nighthawk, Hailstorm, TRAC-5s are the only three I use.
I've put off buying a lot of new weapons recently, for the reason i'm afraid of the nerf and replace with something superior incoming.

I was thinking about buying that weapon, and then I found out from someone else that it had no automatic firing mode, only single-shot and a 2-shot burst. This was before VR where you could check everything out. I just kinda laughed and never thought about buying it ever again.

Arid Forest and Forest Scrub camo - both are horrendous in comparison to new camos
NS-11C - the gun is not bad but just doesn't quite cut it for me
Blackjack - after using it for a day or two I went back to my trusty Nighthawk
Rocketpods - I don't fly as often and only use aircraft for transport
MAX Bursters and Pounders - almost never used them
SOAS-20 and Hailstorm - turned out I play infiltrator only when I need to snipe another infiltrator; other classes have access to superior weapons for a specific role

Not everything. Maxes do more damage and are able to enter buildings for cover, but Skyguards definitely have their place in the game.
1. I can get where I need to be REALLY REALLY FAST.
2. I can still be an engineer while piloting my Skyguard, so I can protect a group of Vanguards from aircraft AND repair any damage they do sustain with my repair gun.
3. Self sufficiency. I can repair my own Skyguard. I don't need an engineer to follow me around and repair me like a max does.
4. More ammo? I don't know how they stack up in terms of ammo but I think the Skyguard has more.
AA Maxes are better at killing, sure. Skyguards are generally better for deterrence and protection of armor divisions though. Pilots can't stand the *TINKTINKTINKTINKTINK* on their hull so they immediately turn away from you and seek out an easier fight. It's not really necessary to kill them.
The only exception I've seen to this is an Ammo Sunderer full of AA Maxes. That is a sight to behold.

The Cyclone SMG, I like the Blitz much more, though now I have the Piston so I tend to use my SMG only on my Infiltrator.
The Warden battle rifle, an upgraded Gauss SAW pretty much does the same job and still works better in close range.
A couple of my carbines, with the new weapons a couple of them just arent needed anymore.
My biggest thing I would want back is certs. There are a lot of gun attachments and vehicle stuff that I just dont use anymore for one reason or another.
With the new daily and members daily sales, along with the weekly bundle deals, I will almost never buy anything that isnt on sale. Stuff gets replaced, repurposed, ruined, etc way too often to get attached to anything. I really would like a cert refund, even if I had to buy it with SC.
