I'm very much a sniper on PS2.
A suggestion to improve overall gameplay involved with scout class would be to make it very obvious that when your scoped in and cloaked at the same time you cannot shoot at said target in your crosshairs, as you need to be uncloaked to get a shot off.
There is a cloak on and off sound, but you can easily forget what status your cloaking abilty is at and/or capable of at the time whilst lining up targets your ultimatley inable to shoot at.

Yea i agree.. I love sniping in PS2 and it is SOOOO ANoying when u line up a shot and u click and nothing happens !!! lol
We need something that you can see in your peripheral vision like a red warning through the scope letting us know that cloak is on..

Exactly! Incredibly annoying spamming left mouse button wondering why your not letting shots off! By the time you realise your still cloaked the target has already moved on and have to realign your cross hairs.
Maybe make the black area area outside of the scope a tint of red so you know your cloaked before trying any shots?

I've never had a problem with this tbh. It's really not that hard to remember when you are or aren't not cloaked when the max duration is less than a minute.

Have to agree with some way to tell. My issue is almost always the cloak running out and due to explosions I don't hear it. Then I hit what I think is uncloak only to cloak for a moment and not be able to shoot.
I generally have a very good sense of how long the cloak lasts, but there are times when i'm going in and out a lot the timer gets shorter and shorter as I don't give it time to fully recharge between targets, and due to explosions and battlefield sounds I don't hear the sound.
I'd like some kind of very slight unobtrusive meter while scoped in.
