How do you all like PS2, the way it has no defensive tools.
The Orbital Strike was a nerf to the AMS.
And the EMP blast was a nerf to CE.
:) Told you so.

It has defensive tools, they're just not spammable (5 AT mines, 3 AP mines as opposed to 25 mines, 15 spitfires [5 of which are invisible], 25 motion sensors).
Also, they're already talking about bringing in Orbitals (http://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/unscheduled-orbital-strike.82980/) and since mass CE isn't a problem anymore, EMP is no longer necessary. Nevermind all the tools that are available to players to negate mines (Mineguard, flak armor).
So no, you didn't tell anyone anything.
Both OS's and EMP's were integral parts of the game, the only issue was that the game would eventually have too many available at one time.
