Quick tip on your Youtubeage: Show a video of the uncut clip, THEN slow-mo. For a sec I thought you had REALLY bad frames, and this is coming from someone who plays with an average of 15 on very low.

Well, by not rushing around would be one suggestion.

If you were going to lay mine I bet you would place them where there wouldn't be time for a driver to react like just over the brow of a hill.

I think the point of the video was the fact that he didn't even TOUCH the mine and it still exploded.

Well to be fair you've never had to touch them, they are proximity detonated... well unless the vehicle is not moving, because... cryhards.

I dont see the issue here except to steer FAR away from them.

Have skill.

Only noobs let draw distance destroy them.

Twitch skillz.

NO

Those are Anti-Vehicular mines, NOT Proximity Mines. One requires that they be driven over, the other requires you to be in proximity of it to explode. A prox mine can indeed cause the same end result to an ATV as was detailed in the video, but that was clearly an oversized pancake of a AV mine and that should NOT be happening like that.

Odds are when they enlarged the tank mines they enlarged the motion-sense radius of them as well.
A-woops?

They are proximity mines. Just look at the description.

My guess is it was rendered so late cause of the incline. And thanks to the new mines and their visibility it will be pretty much the only time one will get kills with it.

I don't know if the mine in this picture is friendly or not but the render distance here is about 120-140 m.

I blew up to mines low flying in PS1 SO MANY TIMES...

But this is my point they have always been proximity detonated, they DO have some kind of IFF ability right? If you need them to be pressure detonated then they should blow up regardless who runs over them right? Friendly enemy whoever.

People cried about dropping them by sundies and having them boom. MAKES NO SENSE with the way they work. The issue that SHOULD have been addressed is the ability to frisbee them all around. If they had to be placed similar to ammo packs it would have done the same thing making AMSs less vulnerable and still kept the consistency of the functionality of the mine.
