ok.. i am pretty sure answering this would break someones NDA so i'll put this up for one of you two and hope for an answer =)
Q: We all know that useing normal bullets (this dosent apply to the nerf-proof Vanu =P) against a max would be nearly pointless and that useing Armor Piercing rounds would do mutch better. My question is this.. how do you go about switching from Standard rounds to AP rounds when your in a fight?.. do you have to spend precious time to open up your inventory, pick up the AP Rounds, then drop them on your weapon? or can you "hotkey" (put one of each ammo box in one of those hotbar slots we see in Screenies) so all you have to do is tap a Key and watch a animation of your character unloading the normal rounds, and loading in the AP rounds? (basicaly a standard reload animation)???
It might not seem like that big a question, but its one i'd like to know the answer to.. it would be realy irritating if you have to oppen up 3 windows, and move around your inventory while a MAX is buisly chewing you up, when you could simply push a button, hide behind something while your character "reloads" then pop back out to fight.
Thanks for any answer ya give, and dang you if your "not allowed" to answer =P

Switching between ammo types is easy. It is mapped to a key, so you can simply hit it and keep going about your business without fumbling through your inventory. This applies to switching between standard and AP rounds. If you are switching a weapon's secondary mode that uses a different type of ammo, you will right click the mouse (unless you have changed that config).
