Hey guys,
Just thought I'd share this quickly. We shot it last night as a sort of intro into the potential for the 'quick response, spec ops' type play-style which was so prevalent in PS1. I've been assured many times that PS2 is strictly a numbers game and that it's purely about who has the larger zerg. We'll be doing our best to dispel that myth over on Matterson & prove that small groups of experienced players can still beat overwhelming odds if they're smart about it.
To that end, this was part of a swathe of hexes our 8 man squad cut through Indar last night, totally unsupported by the rest of our Empire. When we arrived at the Dahaka Southern Post it was controlled by the NC but TR were taking the point with 24-48 enemies in the base. We initially fought the TR off the point and blew 2 of their Sunderers during heavy combat and then had to hold off the resurgent NC for the remainder of the countdown...
